HIGHLIGHT of my 2 weeks in Japan! - I have been to Japan twice, but was my first visit to Kinosakionsen. Natsu was my guide and she was AMAZING!!! I got lucky and was the only one on the tour. Our bike ride was a true highlight of both my trips. Natsu brought me to a temple, shared a lot of history about Kinosakionsen which was so helpful and informative, biked through town, past rice paddies, then to the showstopper - the OCEAN!!!! It was SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! We hung out by the water for a bit, shopped, then biked down to the fishing port and saw all the crab + squid fishing boats, then biked over a beautiful bridge, river, and more rice paddies to a bird sanctuary where we stopped for a while to enjoy hot tea and sweets. It was a beautiful experience and I could NOT recommend it enough when you're in Kinosakionsen. Nothing better than hitting an onsen (or six) after a nice ride! I recommend reserving an E-Bike, there are some hills / it's around a 10 mile ride. Check out @kinosakicycling on Instagram for a peek at what the tours look like. Thank you Natsu!!!!!

A great ride. - This was a great tour giving an appreciation for the small town of Kinosaki. There is no way we would’ve found the places we visited. Includes a lovely viewpoint to Sea of Japan. 15km ride through the town, along the river and past rice fields.

The geen of Kinosaki - Riding along the outskirts of Kinosaki and seeing the greenery. Seeing a part of the sea of Japan was a treat. Natsuko, is a great guide. Patient and laughs easily.

Beautiful sights and safe ride - This was one of my favorite tours across all of Japan! My partner and I love cycling but do not bike regularly. In the brutal summer heat, our guide took care to take lots of breaks and keep us hydrated. I have low vision and was able to complete this tour without any issues. The snacks provided were delicious and I loved that our guide went over the history of Kinosaki. If you are in the area, please sign up! The sights around Kinosaki are just as mystic as the onsen. The fish cakes we tried were so tasty I wish we had bought more.
