- Snorkeling with Manta - At Toya Pakeh: Everything is visible here! Mola Mola, turtles, scorpion fish, stone fish, angel fish, clown fish, sea snakes, nudibranchs, bat fish, barracuda… A true visual delight for photographers! This site is one of the most beautiful in terms of coral formations. In shallow waters, you can glide over Coral Gardens. Descending further along the hill, you’ll find rocks covered in both soft and hard coral. The colors are breathtaking.
- Mangrove Forest Nusa Lembongan - Mangrove Point Lembongan: The mangrove is incredibly rich in fish species. You’ll encounter many giant puffers, scorpion fish, angel fish, clown fish, box fish, nudibranchs, moray eels, nurse sharks, turtles… Whale sharks and manta rays have even been spotted here! There’s everything! Hard and soft coral, rocks, and sandy corridors between the coral. The colors are extraordinary!

Nusa Lembongan Snorkeling with Manta Rays
Join our daily snorkeling trips from Lembongan to three unique locations around Lembongan and Nusa Penida, where you can swim with Manta Rays. Departures are available twice every morning at 7:45 AM and 10:15 AM. We offer convenient pick-up and drop-off services across the entire Nusa Lembongan Island, with pick-up times ranging from 15 to 30 minutes depending on your hotel’s location. The snorkeling adventure lasts approximately 3 hours.
Our team is skilled in assisting non-swimmers, the elderly, children, and infants.
What about beginner swimmers?
We provide snorkeling guides on our boats, along with safety equipment such as life vests, life buoys, and ropes. Snorkeling at Manta Bay is subject to weather conditions. In case of unfavorable weather, we will opt for alternative snorkeling spots like Gamat Bay or Toyapakeh Wall. The likelihood of encountering Manta Rays at Manta Bay ranges from 50% to 70%, depending on the Manta Ray season.
- While snorkeling at Manta Bay offers a high chance of encountering manta rays, please note that sightings are not guaranteed as manta rays are in their natural habitat and their presence may vary due to environmental factors.
- The guests should bring; Comfortable Clothing, change of clothes, comfortable footwear, Sunscreen, Camera, Cash or credit card for self-expenses.
- Non-swimmers also can snorkel with us since we provide safety equipment and snorkeling guides as their instructor.
- Free pick up & drop service from/to your hotel on Lembongan Island. If you stay at Nusa Ceningan we will meet you at Yellow Bridge at 09.30 am. We will contact by email or WhatsApp one day before.

A must do! Great sea life and professional team - This was a great experience and one you shouldn’t miss. The team were friendly and professional, the first stop was hectic but the guide made sure everyone stayed together. For first timers or weak swimmers life jackets were available and the guides in the water had a buy each for those needing a rest. The array of sea life was impressive and waters crystal clear. The swell can be challenging for weak swimmers and if you suffer sea sickness this might not be the snorkelling adventure for you without some sea sickness tablets first. We loved it and it was a very last minute decision that we were so happy we made. A must do if visiting Lembongan and if you’re not staying there it is worth the day trip over from Bali for this tour alone. I was also very impressed with the team’s respect for ocean life, telling everyone not to touch the mantra rays and pulling up a reckless guest who kept touching the turtle. Bonus surprise is that they send you all the GoPro video footage and photos afterwards.

Great value - This was good value for money and a good length trip out on the water with three spots to snorkel at. The crew were very nice and the whole operation was professional and felt safe despite very choppy conditions.

#justdoit! - This trip was so nice! Also because of the nice, caring and helpfull guides! The explanation was very good, the ‘driver’ of the boat was very technical and careful! I felt safe and very welcome!

Great trip, will get to... - Great trip, will get to see the Manta next time. Was awesome to see a sea turtle! Staff were vigilant and felt safe as the boat charged through the giant swells.

Great company who prioritise safety - Unfortunately on the day the swells were too high to see the mantas, it was unsafe to travel to where they were, so instead we snorkelled at 3 places around nusa penida and nusa lembongan. It was disappointing but nature can’t be controlled. I do think snorkelling at Padang bai, Lovina and Amed were better on the mainland.
The staff were lovely and I was thankful our safety was priority over the mantas.

Jude's day snorkelling Nusa Lambongan - Good communication, punctual pickup, welcoming with juice & crackers. I got bit sea sick but not tour's fault. It was choppy ocean. Good views & locations. Didn't see mantas tho they tried to find. Some saw turtle. Lovely colourful fish. I got tired out in ovean due to seasickness but the diver guides didn't notice me waving, but the driver did & alerted them. Showers & change rooms worked ok. A good day out.

Nice trip, very touristy, relatively short - The excursion includes 3 snorkel spots, including one where you can see manta rays with high probability. Since we were not lucky at the first point and was also very strong swell, we were there only very briefly. At the next point you could see manta rays. However, these points are very touristy, so you can't really enjoy it because there are a lot of people there. Afterwards we drove to another point where you could see coral reefs and many fish.
All in all it was a nice tour, the guides were very dedicated. However, I found it a bit short in total, because you only snorkeled for 10 minutes at one point.

Mixed feelings - but worth doing!! 🙌🏼 - This was hard to rate because in general the water was beautiful and the scenery was amazing etc.
however, my goggles were given to me (most people picked their own) and I hadn’t looked at them well when handed to me. They were very scratched inside of them to the point it made it hard to see under water.
Luckily on the last stop out of 3 stops, a lady wasn’t wanting to enter the water so I asked to borrow hers and then could see very clearly the fish and coral which was beautiful…!!
The waters were quite rough on the way over to manta bay on this particular day - so about 1/4 of people on the boat ended up vomiting (lol!) not on the boat though, more so in the actual water and/or over the side of the boat. Most people were fine though.
Apparently some people were lucky in our group to see the manta ray - a few people seen it straight away when hopping in but it disappeared quickly then couldn’t be seen after this. Same with a turtle at the 3rd location. Some people seen it briefly then it swam off. The waters at the Manta Bay location were quite ‘roughish’ not terribly - but definitely took me by surprises how big the waves were (not crashing waves though) any people in the group were very happy with their experience (because clear goggles… and seeing the manta ray briefly & turtle) and I could hear a couple of other people feeling it was an average experience.
I suppose my advice would be to ensure your goggles are very clear and unscratched, and possibly sea sick tablets before going… 👍🏼👍🏼
Overall though I am glad I went and experienced it….😊
