Embark on an amazing full-day safari tour at a stunning Game Reserve! Enjoy the convenience of hotel pickup from your central Cape Town accommodation, ensuring a stress-free adventure. All that’s left is to look forward to exploring the private, malaria-free reserve. Experience an unforgettable game drive through the park, keeping an eye out for the renowned Big Five and other endangered species.
- Tour accommodates maximum 8 guests, however there will be more guests at the Reserve and on the game drive.
- If guests are making their own way to a listed pick-up point, they need to allow sufficient travelling time (ie… traffic delays etc…) in order to arrive at the pickup point in time for collection.
- Should guests not arrive by the scheduled departure time, the tour will depart and no refunds will be given.
- Surcharge will apply for any amendments (ie.. date change, name change, pax number change etc…) made 7days or less prior to travel.
- It is compulsory that guests contact us 48 hours prior to tour departure to re-confirm that they will still be travelling on the tour. Should clients not make contact with us by 48 hours prior to travel date, the booking will automatically be cancelled.
- When more than one person is travelling – we require names and last names of all guests travelling (reason being if tour booking is made with one person and the hotel reservation is made under another, we will be informed by the hotel that there ais nobody by that name at the hotel which will result in delays and could cause the guests to miss the tour).
- Our starts at 9:00 AM; pickup begins around 8:20 AM
- Return to your hotel around 18:30 PM

Fantastic day out - We knew this wasn't a safari but a game reserve however we had a fantastic experience. We stayed overnight in a Karoo Lodge which was amazingly clean and comfortable with a terrace over looking the reserve and we were lucky enough to have elephants and hippos walk by whilst we were outside.
As we stayed overnight lunch, dinner and breakfast were included and for mass catering buffet the food was great, plenty of choice for all dietary requirements and hot. You have to buy your own drinks but wine in South Africa is cheap!!
The game drive itself was amazing. We saw the big 5 and halfway round stopped off for complimentary refreshments. The guide was knowledgeable and could answer all questions.
If you are in or near Cape Town and don't have time for a safari but fancy seeing the big 5 would highly recommend this as an alternative.

Outstanding - Amazing in every way, virtually guaranteed to see all of the big five animals plus a wonderful dinner and some traditional African dancing, very worthwhile.

Unbelievable experience - Wow what an incredible experience. Hotel pick up and drop off , just over a two hour drive with beautiful scenery. On arrival everything is superbly organised, fantastic lunch (complimentary) in a beautiful setting then into your Safari bus. Bit bumpy in places but well worth it with a well informed ranger, it does get very hot so plenty of water/sunscreen .

Fun, fantastic, fabulous - A great day, travelling out to Acquilla, with a group of fellow tourists. We had a smooth journey and Acquilla was a great place when we got there. We really enjoyed it, thank you. And hope to return again some time in the future.

Good “safari-lite” experience - I knew going in that this wouldn’t live up to an “official” safari experience but it was a great introduction. We saw 4 of the big 5 but my experience dwindled once we saw lions lounging next to a security fence. I saw more lion activity at a zoo. Wish there was some sort of introduction/background as to what the reserve does…how large the property is…how many animals, etc. (there was zero background). All in all, nice experience but I’m ready to explore a more hearty safari experience.

Great place, animals to see, food and service was awesome - This is a fun experience for an enclosed safari experience . The game resort is gorgeous, the food is excellent and our driver was funny and made the drive exciting. I was so impresed with the provision of a sparkling drink upon arrival and a midway stop as well. Well worth the day trip ...do it before you go to a real safari in Kruger ...

Our experience at the... - Our experience at the reserve was great! We enjoyed seeing all the animals and the staff was friendly. However our driver Rudlin was rude. We didn’t know the hotel was closed due to renovations but it was the closest to our Airbnb on the list. I called the company and the female was polite and gave the driver our location. Once he arrived to us though he was rude.

Disappointing experience - More Zoo Than Safari - t felt and looked like a zoo. The animals were confined to small areas and appeared unhealthy and far too thin. The “safari” only lasted around 1.5 hours, which made the experience even more disappointing. If you truly want to see the Big Five and other wildlife, do a proper safari with a real game drive — that is 110% worth it. This experience, unfortunately, was not.

Bad service - Terrible shuttle service too and from Cape Town. Their shuttle service from the safari to Cape Town is unorganised and huge delays. Rather hire a car and drive there yourself.
