The lunch was excellent, as was John, and it was a pretty comprehensive visit of his local haunts. It's a shame Ruby Chow's isn't a bit closer...or still in existence (which I guess is the point; it wouldn't really be significant now). We also really liked how the inside exhibition space has changed in the last few months -- lots of great material!
The tour far exceeded my expectations. The guide was great and the exhibit itself was UNBELIVABLE.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable. I enjoyed being able to walk the same streets as Bruce Lee and learn about his life here in Seattle. I had a great time.
The museum itself is very beautifully put together. In every direction we could read important and interesting information about the incredible influence that the Pan-Asian culture has had in the United States and beyond. We signed up for the Bruce Lee tour and it was magnificent! Our tour guide, John, was very knowledgable about Bruce Lee's life and answered the many questions that were asked of him. Everyone at the museum was professional and kind. The whole experience, and especially being guided all around Chinatownwas an absolute treat. Thank you!
Very nice . Helpful and informative.
Enjoyed the history & learned a few things. Lunch was also good. Definitely would recommend.
Our tour guide Maya was wonderful. So much information and she made the life of Bruce Lee come alive again. I don't think that I have ever had a guide that knew so much! Also, the lunch at Bruce Lee's table, eating the food that he always ordered was a highlight. I didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. The Wing Luck museum is also wonderful. It was a very good day!!
May is super awesome! I had a great tour and would totally recommend to my friends!
The in-depth experience of Bruce Lee's life in Seattle was excellent and Maya's knowledge of Bruce Lee, and Seattle's Asian history was outstanding! I will recommend the tour to everyone I know and will likely donit again myself.
The whole day was spectacular. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Lunch at Tai Tung was truly delicious. And the museum itself was far beyond my expectations. We took time to explore more than just the Bruce Lee exhibit, and were truly impressed. What we thought would be about 3 hours of just a tour, turned into the best 7 hour day/adventure!!
Maya was very courteous and knowledgeable. We had a good time and enjoyed our lunch. Thanks!
Maya did a great job. The gluten issue was a bit of a bump at lunch, but that is a hard idea to communicate (even to native speakers, even to your family :) and couldn't be helped, really. Appreciated her enthusiasm and all the information she shared!
John was our guide, he was very nice and enthusiastic. The tour is a must go if you're a fan of Bruce Lee. It's an enriching experience.
WE HAD BEEN TO THE WING LUKE MUSEUM,TO SEE THE PREVIOUS, BRUCE LEE EXHIBIT. WE WANTED TO SEE THE NEWEST EXHIBIT. MY NEPHEW IS VISITING FROM DENMARK AND LIKE ME, IS A BRUCE LEE FAN. I THOUGHT THE EXPANDED TOUR WOULD BE VERY SPECIAL FOR BOTH OF US. MAYA, OUR GUIDE, WAS VERY INFORMED AND VERY SKILLED AT ANSWERING OUR QUESTIONS.THE CHINESE LUNCH WAS EXCELLENT AND VISITING BRUCE LEE'S FAVORITE RESTAURANT WAS A NICE ADDITION TO THE TOUR. KINDLY, LINDA DEVLIN
The tour made me discover the man behind the legend and the different facets of is origin and how it influenced is personality and actions. The guide was very knowledgeable on the subject and amicable. I do recommend the tour for all of those interested in knowing Bruce Lee better.
Outstanding tour and lunch! I really enjoyed listening and discussing some of the more personal and pre-movie elements of Bruce Lee's life with our guide, Maya. The lunch which included some of Bruce Lee's favorite dishes was absolutely terrific! I think the price was a great deal given it includes the tour, admission to the museum and the lunch.

The tour and exhibit was filled with interesting tidbits. Met all my expectations.
What a wonderful and powerful tour! Our host (May?) was informative, kind, and answered all the questions she could. Food was great - I can't wait to come back for the third year. Recommended to EVERYONE I know in Seattle.
I bought these tickets for my boyfriend for his birthday. We went and he really enjoyed it all. He LOVES Bruce Lee. He is his idol and inspiration! He loved the personal letters that Bruce Lee wrote and recieved, like the ones from Jabaar. He loved the scripts he wrote and all of the pictures. He sat at the table that Bruce Lee at ate and he was happy about that. My boyfriend had already knew alot about Bruce Lee but learned more on the tour. We will definitely attend next year's tour and will become a member. We are very happy that this experience was there for us to attend and are very thankful that the Bruce Lee foundation brought this tour to Seattle. I will recommend all Bruce Lee fans to experience this amazing tour!!!! Thank you.
I thought that the tour was really amazing, and I do hope that in the future, you are able to build the permanent Bruce Lee Museum in Chinatown. I think that it will draw a lot of people to it, since most people are not aware of how much Seattle played a role in his formidable years before he was a superstar. The tour guide John, was also really well informed, and did a great job of keeping it lively and interesting.

I left a written note thanking and commending John Notato as my tour guide. Thoroughly enjoyed the exhibit, inside and outside, and am looking forward to renewing my membership and intensifying my visits.
i think its amazing that someone knew bruce lee when he was younger. my dad loved watching his movies and if my dad was still living on this earth he wouldve done the tour with me but he has now been gone for 21 years.

Guide was knowledgeable and food was tasty (well, Bruce had good taste). Linda Lemon
I took the tour as part of a group of four. We all felt that we learned a lot of new things about Bruce Lee. Seeing some of the places that were important in his formative years helped us understand Bruce Lee, the man, much better. I, (and my traveling companions) would highly recommend this tour.
Our tour guide, John, made it so.
Would have loved to have been able to take more pictures to show friends at home. I only really had the cardboard cut out picture to remember where I had been. Loved donny Wong and his connection with bruce lee.
Informative interesting small group and good food!!
I travelled from the UK for this tour. The tour was informative and interesting. Our guide was friendly too. Thank you for a great insight.
I liked the tour and our tour guide but it definitely wasn't about Bruce Lee, which would be fine except that's how it's being advertised...
Our docent, Don, was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed his personal stories about Bruce Lee. The lunch was very delicious.
Our guide very professional and knowledgeable. The museum gave an awesome experience!
Interesting exhibit. small but insightful. Great personal artifacts and fun pop culture memorabilia. Disappointed that we can't take pictures in the exhibit, there were some great photo ops in there. The walking tour is not bad. Covers only his time living in seattle, not his movie career, FYI, in case that's what you're looking for. But hey, I liked it and it was a great tour. . And thanks for treating us to the great service and awesome food in Bruce Lee's favorite chinese restaurant. The food was delicious.
It was wonderful to meet people who knew Mr. Lee and go to place he use to love to be.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we loved the lunch we had at Bruce Lee's favorite restaurant.
The person led the tour was very nice, professional and knowlegble. We had a lot of fun and learn things we didn't know about Bruce. Food at the restaurant was great and people there were so nice. There were a lot of food and we took the left over home! Exhibit was not too big but well put. The video we watched before we went outside was played where other people were around so it was hard to hear it very well but we could had watched again later if we had time. My son was not able to join so I am planning to come back later with my son. Thank you!
Maya's knowledge of Bruce Lee was amazing. She was not even born during Bruce Lee's television and movie career yet her knowledge goes far beyond mine. I was in high school and college during Bruce Lee's fame and I thought I had read everything about him but there was a lot more to learn. I hope the planned Bruce Lee event with Linda Lee, Shannon Lee and (possible) Kareem Abdul Jabbar goes this fall! Thanks again.
Maya was so knowledgeable about Bruce Lee. She was not even born during the ear of Bruce Lee and I read every book and magazine I could find about him in addition to seeing his movies multiple times at the theater, yet Maya put me to shame. I didn't know as much as I thought about Bruce Lee. I hope the graffiti on some of the historic Bruce Lee locations are covered over. Some people just don't have any respect for other people's property. The server at the Ruby Chow restaurant wasn't unpleasant but I working in a restaurant for years on makes it hard to smile at times. The person who I believed was the owner was wonderful, he cheerfully came and greeted us as we all left and made me want to come back again. My wife and I will come again thanks to this person. Maya was a great lunch companion for my wife and me.

Very fun experience! Well organized, friendly, well-educated guide. Great food. Great way to learn about Chinatown and Bruce Lee. We're telling our friends and planning to return to see the other exhibits. Lovely facility.
Our family has wanted to learn more about International District for some time, but we never felt comfortable exploring on our own. The Do You Know Bruce Tour was fantastic! Our guide Don was both informative and funny. We learned a lot about Bruce Lee and both the Japanese and Chinese heritage of this part of the city of Seattle. Part of what made our tour so interesting was that Don had actually known Bruce and worked with him at Ruby Chow's restaurant back in the day. Now that we have a better understanding of this part of town, we'll be back to explore more on our own :)
