Togenukijizo Kogan Temple - Discover the Kogan-ji Temple.
A 10-minute walk from Shinsei-ji Temple, guests can participate in the unique experience of washing the Bodhisattva statue while praying for health and longevity. Along the way, enjoy the distinctive street food shops. -
Rikugien Gardens - Stroll through Rikugien Garden.
Accessible via a one-stop train ride and a 12-minute walk from Sugamo Station, or a 10-minute taxi ride from the same station. This expansive Japanese garden, known as the “Garden of Waka Poetry,” features 88 scenic spots. Designed in 1702 by a Samurai king, the garden represents a miniature world with views of the sea, mountains, rivers, ponds, waterfalls, and forests. Enjoy Japanese tea and sweets at a scenic spot once favored by the Samurai king. The tour concludes at Komagome Station, a 10-12 minute walk from the garden, providing easy access back to Tokyo’s central area.

The guest will enjoy a brief hike and the challenge of discovering these viewpoints, with the possibility of finding 20-30 of them.
At the garden’s tea house, while seated on a bench and sipping Japanese tea, the guest can immerse themselves in the life of a Samurai lord, surrounded by breathtaking views.
After completing the Rikugien tour, the excursion concludes at Komagome Station, a 10-minute walk from the garden.
