To do absolutely without hesitation - Superb outing with BOA who does everything possible to make discover the maximum of species with explanations at the top and very gently in silent canoeing.
Speaks very well French, we also made the jaguar trail with him and without his warned eye we probably would not have seen so many different animals and with very detailed explanations

Stories and Wildlife - Boa 🐍 is a wonderful host who gave us an incredible tour with his deep knowledge of the area (and other connected areas as it relates to wildlife and ecosystems). A highlight, besides seeing many different species of wildlife, was hearing about his lived experiences and stories.

Grandiose kayaking tour through the canals of Tortuguero National Park - Grand tour with excellent guide: Boa knows how to back up sound knowledge with humorous facts. There was nothing missing: Coffee/tea/biscuits in the morning and in a kayak then binoculars, vest, rain poncho ... for everyone. For the fair prices you really get the full program.

Unforgettable Wildlife Experiences with Knowledgable Expert - Our experiences with Boa were truly unforgettable. We joined him for both a guided night walk in Tortuguero National Park and an early-morning boat tour through the canals and wildlife reserves, and we highly recommend doing both — Boa made them extraordinary.
From the start, Boa struck a perfect balance between deep knowledge and genuine warmth. His love for Costa Rica and the natural world is contagious, and his calm enthusiasm and sense of wonder elevated every moment of the tours.
Boa is a gifted teacher with an impressive understanding of biology, wildlife, geology, and Tortuguero’s ecosystem. He welcomed every question with excitement and made each discovery feel meaningful. What stood out most was how present and appreciative he was of our curiosity and joy.
Thanks to Boa, we saw far more wildlife than expected — monkeys, toucans, countless birds, crocodiles, caiman, snakes, and of course, sloths — and truly understood what we were seeing because of the context he provided.
Beyond being an exceptional guide, Boa is a kind, funny, and remarkable person. We loved getting to know him and sharing conversations beyond the tours themselves. Because of him, our short time in Tortuguero was filled with learning, connection, and pure fun.
Boa is truly one of a kind, and we will book with him again every chance we get. Unforgettable.

Great tour - We really enjoyed our tour with Boa. It was very well organized. Everyone in the boat got binoculars, which were perfect to see the animals close up. We were also given capes when it started raining in between. The best part was in the end of the tour when we entered a side arm where we were completely surrounded by trees and other plants, giving us a unique experience. We fully recommend the tour!

Best tours in Tortuguero - legend guides! - Best guided tour of Tortuguero! Boa and his team welcome you with a nice coffee at the meeting point, while they prep the boats. Once the tour starts, everyone on the boat receives binoculars, which makes the tour a lot more engaging. This is really a big plus compared to other tours. Daniel was the guide on our boat and this man really knows a lot about all the animals we came across. If you are looking for a fun, and above all, a very engaging boat trip with a lot of fun facts and learnings about all the animals and the jungle, just book this trip. You will not regret it.
When the boat tour was done, we even decided to join the guided jaguar trail later that day as well, just because we had so much fun. And also here no regrets at all. The entrance ticket for the parc is still valid in the afternoon for the guided jaguar trail, so it is basically a win win. This time we had Boa as our guide and this man is just a multilingual jungle legend. He will tell you everything you need to know and even more, in fluent French/English or Spanish and you can just feel his big passion for animals and nature in every explanation he gives.
Look no further, because the best guided tours are only found here! Keep up the good work guys!

Superb excursion with Boa - Superb excursion with Boa and his silent electric boat! We have seen up close monkeys, birds, turtles, caimans and frogs. He is an expert on the flora and fauna of the island of Tortuguero. In addition, he speaks French very well. I highly recommend Boa for your excursions.

Outstanding wildlife experience - Boa is extremely professional and deeply respectful of nature. He has impressive amount of knowledge about every animal. He has completed all four levels of the national park guiding system in Costa Rica, and this is very clearly reflected in the quality of the experience.
We saw an incredible amount of wildlife, including toucans, a crocodile, caimans, iguanas, howler and spider monkeys, macaws, a venomous snake, bats, and a huge variety of bird species.
The canoe was very good maintained and comfortable, with seats with backrests and a raised edge to prevent water from entering. The quiet electric motor does not disturb wildlife. This is a rare advantage, since most other boats use loud engines or require tourists to paddle constantly.
Boa provided us with binoculars and we loved the morning coffee he offered us before departure. The group was small, around six to eight people, creating a very intimate atmosphere, since we don't appreciate mass tourism.
This tour was an exceptional experience from start to finish, and we can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Tortuguero!

The right people in the right place - Boa, the guide, is an exquisite, competent, funny person and it is clear that he is a true lover of nature.
the three hours we spent with him on the boat flew between sightings and precise explanations of the surrounding environment.

Canoeing in Tortuguero. - Boa is a tipazo, the canoe tour was quiet, without setbacks and we saw many species of the place. He brought binoculars, windbreakers and professional equipment to get a better look at the flora and fauna and has full knowledge of what explains.
Highly recommended.
