Unforgettable - Wonderful! The guide Lily was excellent, sensitive and attentive to everyone! We were very lucky and with her it was even better!

Saw baby sea turtles hatch while a mother turtle layed her eggs nearby - This was arguably the most memorable experience of our entire CR trip. Karla was an excellent guide and gave us a ton of great info about the sea turtles and about the Tortuguero region while we waited for the sea turtles to lay their eggs. The way it works is that there is a "spotter" who works with the guides to find sea turtles coming on shore. You may have to wait a little bit before seeing a turtle. Once they come on to shore there is a small window when the mother turtle is sort of in a trance and not scared by people being close by. That's when you get to see her lay her eggs. During our tour we got to see the mother turtle lay her eggs up close and while she was covering her nest she actually uncovered another nearby nest full of baby turtle hatchlings! These started crawling out all over the place and before long the beach was covered in baby sea turtles. Seeing the mother turtle next to the hatching baby turtles was truly a magical experience that I will remember the rest of my life. Thanks Karla!

Wonderful Night Watching of Turtles - An inescapable appointment in the visit to Tortuguero. A beautiful to observe the spawning of turtles at night with our guide Karla, a great passion of turtles who explained in detail the biology of the species that arrive to Tortuguero, all of them threatened with extinction. We were able to observe 2 turtles weighing about 150 kg at different stages of the process: one in the middle of spawning and subsequent camouflage, and a second turtle on its way back to the sea.

Turtle Tour - The turtle tour in Tortuguero was a really interesting experience. Seeing the turtles come to the beach at night to lay their eggs was something unique and memorable. The guides were professional and made sure everyone respected the animals and followed the rules. Karala helped us organize the transport to Tortuguero, which made things much easier and saved us a lot of time. Everything went smoothly, and communication was clear throughout. Overall, it was a well-run tour and a good experience that I would recommend to anyone visiting the area

Super great night out - The tour was great! Have seen two turtles laying eggs and one slip back into the sea. Friendly contact, well organized!! We'll be back!

Turtles laying eggs - We were able to observe the egg-laying process in two turtles. The STC was also there to measure nasty turtles. Very impressive. Karla made sure that we could see as much as possible, went into our wishes the turtles on the return to beglriten and gave us the most important information.

An impressive experience with turtles - We went on a turtle tour with Kala. She provided us with a lot of information and gave us a good view of the egg-laying of the turtles. Highly recommended!!!

He was always attentive to everyone’s safety and explained the spawning process in detail and gave us a lot of information about the turtles. The tour was beautiful because we managed to see a turtle performing the spawning and as a bonus we could see another turtle returning to the sea.
