Unforgettable experience - 2-hour tour with a French guide, Hugo. He took the time to explain everything we saw (fauna and flora). He was very respectful of nature, made sure that our adventure was as immersive as possible, and that magic worked. We paid 30$ (~25€) per person, and it was worth them! Small tip: make the visit early in the morning (6am) to see as many animals as possible.

Special place Tortuguero - We had a fantastic night tour and were taken into a jungle area, which was exciting. We saw Red eyed frog, porcupine, armadillo and the knowledge of our guide was so good.
The next morning, we went on an electric powered kayak, and this enabled us to go further and also enabled us to go into the small canals, that bigger boats can't get in to.
Plenty of wildlife out there, from birds to caimen, Monkeys. So much fun.
Thank you for making our stay in Tortuguero a special memory..

Fantastic canoe trip - Fantastic tour with super good guide Pablo Kano tour with electric motor is quite ingenious so you get further into the rainforest. We saw lots of animals - thanks to Pablo who spotted kaimans and turtles and lots of birds. Definitely a recommendation from here👍

Beautiful and varied canoe tour. - Great canoe trip with incredible wildlife. We saw caimans, different monkey species, turtles, a lot of different birds, iguanas, lizards. Thanks to E-canoe we were also allowed into the small side arms. Pablo our guide was super nice and explained to us all the animals and also some about the development of Tortuguero. Tortuguero life Tours also helped us with the shuttle tour to Guapiles. Everything very straightforward, all staff very friendly. Thanks for the nice tour. Pura Vida

An excellent Cannoe tour - I did 3 tours with Tortuguero life tours and the first one was Cannoe.
We started at 6:45 am and we were lucky with the whether, Abel the guide, led us into amazing river canals where we were able to see caimans, various type of birds, turtles and even bats!
The speciality of our guide was animal sound mimic which made some species actually answer back!
Always worried about the group, super friendly guide and a tour shop that you can trust finding the best guide for you with super accessible prices!

The best thing I did in Costa Rica - My friend Engel was the best tour guide. He took care of all our needs and was very accommodating. Even helped me find a place to stay, food to eat, and made sure I had a safe stay in tortugeuro. All your needs in this town . Tortuguero life tours can help you with.

Canoe tour, fishing trip and transportation from Tortuguero to Moin - We made 3 separate bookings with Engel which were all splendid!
Day 1 we took a canoe trip into Tortuguero National Park with Pablo, who was amazing! We spotted a whole family of howler monkeys.. Pablo called to them and they answered.. went quite close to 2 caymans, saw multiple turtles, a spider monkey, iguanas and many birds. Engel provided us with umbrellas which were very useful for the sun.
Day 2 one of us went on a fishing tour again with Pablo, caught a gar fish and saw many others, again a special experience.
Day 3 Engel organised transfer from Tortuguero door to door of our next lodging in Cahuita. This involved a 3 hour boat trip to Moin then a taxi pick up. This all went smoothly and we saw a GIANT crocodile basking on the river bank.
I recommend Engel and Tortuguero Life Tours most highly!

Super recommended tour operator!! - We did the canoe tour and seen the positive experience in the evening we also booked the night walking tour.
Both experiences were amazing , we spotted a lot of animals the guides were very experienced and knowledgeable and spoke both English and Spanish. I definitely recommend you to rely on them!

Relaxed canoe tour with lots of knowledge & humor - It was a nice activity to go canoeing across the river. The guide Pablo was funny and explained a lot to us. He could mock the animals. We can highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic - Really nice company, the owner made sure everything is on time and as good as possible. The personel spoke good english and took time to explain everything. On the night walk we managed to see a lot of animals with a local guide. It is a small local company putting lot of care to meet the expextations.
