Found the advert for The Walking Gourmet on google as we both like to try something new we booked it.
We were met by a lovely man called Darron who was our guide for the afternoon we were the only couple on the tour and Darron made us feel welcome and did not rush us around the tour.
We ate in 3 restaurants in the Palazzo and had desert in the Venetian The first restaurant was called Once the food was amazing there the chef prepared the food as we looked on to the kitchen. The attention to detail was truly artistic I would recommend this to others he explained each dish he prepared in great detail.
The second restaurant was Sushisamba the quality of food was top class though I'm not too fussed on sushi personally but if you like
It then it is one to try out, lovely place and you can also watch the chefs prepare the food which is good.
The third restaurant was Morels a French Steakhouse we had two samples of their wine and a small selection of cheese to taste followed by a toasted sandwich with ham and a side salad although it was very tasty I expected something better really.
Our final restauraunt was in the Venitian the name I can't remember sorry this was were we had our desert, considering all the lovely places in the Venetian this was by far the poorest pretty much a cafe with bought deserts at least that's how it tasted to us.
The staff were not particularly friendly.
Over all we enjoyed our afternoon, is it good value for money ? I think still a bit expensive for what you got to eat especially desert.
On a positive I would go back to 2 of the restaurants in the future and we did have a personal tour guide who was very pleasant and informative but I don't know if I would do it again.
