Beyond Expectations - We have done several bus tours from Benalmadena over the past couple years. I have never been impressed with them. So, the tour from Benalmadena to Nerja and Frigiliana was a delight! Our guide, Daniel, was professional, courteous, well-informed, fluent in four languages. He and the driver, Pablo (if I remember correctly) worked well together. We had the promised free time to enjoy and look around. (Many tours are less organized and run out of time!)The caves were marvelous, with lots of time, even for the elderly, like us, to walk and take pictures.

Visit to Frigiliana - We were in Frigiliana last December. When it is said that it is one of the most beautiful villages in Spain there is not the slightest exaggeration. White village, beautiful, clean, quiet, many details with information of the village that are appreciated... visit essential and preferably with own car to be able to be all the necessary hours, which will always be few.

Nerja was a breathtaking... - Nerja was a breathtaking town. Frigiliana was nice but I would have preferred more time in Nerja. Frigiliana is pretty but boring.

Nice day out - Frigiliana is small village in the mountains. Narrow old roads, small shops and restaurants, you can spend 2-3 hours there. Plenty of peaking around the streets

Spectacular views, but disappointing visit. - Visit with GetYourGuide. 35€. Visit Frigiliana first. A 2-hour stop in autumn mode. Without a guide, avoid the tour with the small train. Space is so tight that if you have a tall or corpulent person, you will have to be curled up! We left the train pcq it was unbearable. Anyway, people in the group told us it wasn't worth it. Frigiliana is a typical white village nestled in the mountain and the view is spectacular. Nerja let us down. Apart from the balcony of Europe and its view of the coast, we found no other attractions. As there is no guided tour, we pay strictly for transportation.

Moderate excursion with 1 highlight, Nerja! - We certainly would not recommend this trip to others. The guide spoke limited English and was difficult to understand due to the chatter of the fellow passengers. The train ride and the visit to the bodega (with bad sangria and weak fruit macedoine) were pure commerce! A Finnish lady boarded the train with great difficulty. The guide didn't help, I did. Nerja was worth seeing.

waste of money, do it on your own initiative - -no pick up in Caruhela while the bus was passing by -no value for money, information in 4 !! llanguagues, preventing you to enjoy the beautyfull area -only free time in the villages without guidance, guide didn't know where touristoffice was, found out it myself, museum happened to be closed on monday...... -I would advise a clear information about what to expect and what not

Poor value for money. - Just a glorified taxi service. For the price we paid, we were expecting a lot more. Instead spent a long time picking up from various hotels (standard practice I know). Whilst the guide tried to keep us informed I’m afraid it was a tour that left us wanting. Basically? We were taken to each destination and then just dumped. No cohesiveness at all. Might just as well have taken the local bus at a much reduced cost.

Civitatis, Frigilana / Nerja (No Excuse and No Money) - I will not hire anything again with Julia travel as despite following all the directions and confirming them by phone on 2 occasions (48 h before and on the same day of the tour) I was not picked up at the agreed meeting point leaving me lying and missing the excursion and the money.
