The journey continues to a meditation center and Buddha monastery to learn about Cambodian religions. • Choeung Ek Genocidal Center - After visiting the Ta Prohm temple and enjoying a relaxing lunch at Tonle Bati Lake, there is a short transfer to the Killing Field. Here, an audio tour available in 14 languages provides insight into Cambodia’s dark history during the Khmer Rouge regime. The Killing Field is a site where over a million people were killed and buried by the Khmer Rouge regime during its rule from 1975 to 1979, following the Cambodian Civil War (1970–1975).
• Phnom Penh - A private transfer back to the hotel in Phnom Penh takes approximately 1 hour, depending on traffic conditions. This marks the end of a beautiful cycling day enriched with historical knowledge from Vana Adventure Travel.
