A cold day at the convent - On a cold day, the convent was freezing! But the tour was worth it. Our guide Sara was well versed on the history and special characteristics of the multiple structures. There was lots to see - indoors and outside - and just enough places to get warm for a few minutes. So glad we didn’t miss it.

Our guide was Miguel and... - Our guide was Miguel and he was very knowledgeable. Tour was well worth it! Learned a lot of small details about the history and architecture we would not have picked up on our own.

A perfect tour guide - Our guide was terrific, so knowledgeable about the structure, the decorative details, the political history, the modifications made over time. She had a perfect command of English and had a lovely sense of humor. She took time with us, was patient with our wanting to stop to take photos. It was a perfect tour, exceeding our expectations.

Great tour - What an amazing tour! Carolina (Ana) was so knowledgeable. She shared so much information with us and was very kind. This was a great day. And now I know what to say on foggy days - King Sebastian will be coming back soon!

Great walking tour - Great walking tour. Guide was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. She gave valuable insight as to why and how based on the historical timeline.

Excellent Tour by Sara - Sara is a wonderful guide who artfully wove the story and history of Tomar, Covento de Christo and the chapel in a fascinating manner as we moved through the buildings. She thoughtfully answered our questions and we left with a deeper knowledge and appreciation of Portugal and its history.
