Don’t pass up Tomar - We weren’t sure if the trek to Tomar wa sloth it, but we are so glad we made it. This UNESCO heritage site is simply a jewel to see. Our tour guide Anna was amazingly knowledgeable and provided necessary history to understand the architecture. We enthusiastically recommend this tour!

Excellent historical tour of Convent of Christ Tomar - My husband and I have done many tours, but I honestly think the Convent of Christ tour with Sarah in Tomar was one of our favorites. We liked her personality from the start. She is very smart and well versed in history, but chill and casual in her delivery. History has never been easier for me to follow with her. She really knows how to present the story of the convent from beginning to end. Our time flew by with her. Also, for English speaking visitors, her English is perfect. I could've listened to her all day. I found her and her tour to be a gem.

Superb! - Tiago the guide, was excellent! really knowledgeable and interesting and very attentive to my partner’s knee problems. He took his time and never rushed us. This is a very beautiful site full of history; even the brother of Vasco de Gama is buried there. Beautiful 2 hours spent in great company!

If you're interested in the Templar Knights, this is a fantastic tour! Get Ana for your guide! - Ana was our tour guide and she was fantastic! She gave the complete history of the Templar Knights better than I could learn from the History Channel. What an upbeat and interesting guide. If you like history, and have ever wondered about the Templars, this is a great tour to experience. Ana is passionate about history and will show you all her favorite spots at the Convent of Christ and will help you out with photos too! Just a pleasant, interesting and beautiful tour all around. Thank you Ana! My sister and I enjoyed the tour!

Highly recommend! - Ana was an amazing guide. A history teacher from Tomar who was able to share so much about the Convent of Christ, the templars, the history of Tomar, Portugal as a whole and the evolution of rulers throughout time and the structures themselves. She knew answers to all of our questions. She really packed a lot of information into 2 hours in a very engaging way. We were very happy to have her as our guide. I really recommend having a guide like this if you’re interested in really learning because it didn’t seem as if there was extensive information posted about what we were seeing. I highly recommend seeing the convent and using a guide. If you can have Ana you will not be disappointed!

Nice day - Anna was a great tour guide and was very knowledgeable about the area. She went at a great pace for the group. Parking was a bit confusing, if there are no spots in the lot they suggest, then head up the hill and park on the side of the road.

Convent of Christ tour - Sara was very knowledgeable about the Templar castle. The four of us enjoyed her casual and friendly way of describing and answering questions. We highly recommend her as a tour guide.
