The driver was on time... - The driver was on time and the vehicle was clean and in good condition. We had an easy ride to the port in spite of the rainy condition.

Our 8 passenger van was... - Our 8 passenger van was comfortable and clean. We arrived on time. Always nice when things go as expected.

Yokohama port transfer - Very good communication because before the trip. David was prompt in returning my messages and have a very detailed description of it pickup point and how to get there including pictures showing the route to walk after getting off the cruise ship. Van was beautiful and spacious, easily holding 7 people along with our 15 suitcases. Was a bit expensive for a a 25 minute trip but well worth it to avoid the long lines of people waiting for shuttle busses and taxis. Made departure a stress free experience.

Cruisers take - Very professional and communicated Clearly and often. Driver was early professional, very clean. Highly recommend better than taking the shuttles from cruise porta

Mt Fuji is spectacular - This is a great trip and we were very excited about seeing Mt Fuji as we were lucky to have a clear day. Toshi was a very attentive guide and went out of his way to get us back to the correct train station for our hotel which we appreciated. It was a very long day however. It might be better to eliminate the Hakone Ropeway as it felt too rushed to really enjoy it.

Tokyo Hotel to the port for seven - We had 7 people and it was easy to order a van to take us all from our hotel to the cruise terminal. They were on time and the van they sent was comfortable. The driver was friendly and it was very easy. They called me directly when the van came and we could all go downstairs to meet it? The only thing I will mention is they asked us to meet them 1/2 hour earlier to accommodate traffic and parking at the port. I then got an email notice that if we were later than our original time they would charge us for overtime, which I thought was odd since they asked us to move our time earlier but it worked out

Beware… read before booking. - I’m writing this review to give awareness to others who may be looking to book the same or similar transfer. The booking process was easy, and the communication with the tour operator was great. We were contacted via WhatsApp and the pickup details were finalized with the operator. We found our driver at the designated area for private transfer passengers. The driver was courteous and helped us load our heavy luggage. She did not speak any English, but we were able to communicate by using our smart phone. After that, things got weird…. Shortly after leaving the cruise terminal area, we were directed by the local police to pull over to the side of the road. We thought that perhaps we were randomly selected for an additional search or questioning. We soon found out that our driver did not hold the proper license to perform the transfer that we had arranged and paid for. Unfortunately, she was placed under arrest and we were questioned and had our statements taken, ultimately delaying our trip by about 2 hours. Luckily, the police officers were extremely polite and professional, and offered to take us with our luggage to our hotel. We had no way of knowing beforehand that our driver wasn’t properly licensed to drive us from the port. I’m not sure how I could’ve done anything different in retrospect to avoid this situation. Going forward, it will become my practice to confirm with the tour operator that the driver assigned has the proper license to complete our ride as planned. I don’t want to deter anyone from booking this transfer, but just felt the need to make others aware of our experience, so that you can avoid going through it yourself.
