Bishkek - Burana Tower - Chon Kemin - Kok Moinok - Cholpon Ata

Burana Tower - In the morning, the journey begins towards the legendary Issyk Kul lake (230km), with a stop at the historic 11th-century Burana Tower, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The visit will last approximately 30 minutes.

Chon-Kemin National Park - The next destination is the picturesque Chon Kemin valley, where a captivating horseback ride up the mountains leads to a stunning panoramic viewpoint (2 hours round trip). Lunch will be enjoyed at a beautiful panoramic restaurant.

Kok Moinok Canyon - The adventure continues with a visit to the otherworldly Kok Moinok canyon for a delightful light walk (1 hour round trip).

Cholpon Ata - The journey resumes with an arrival in Cholpon Ata, the central town on Issyk Kul’s northern coast. Check-in at a hotel, followed by free time for relaxation and dinner at a restaurant.

Cholpon Ata - Grigoriev gorge - Semyonov gorge - Karakol

Cholpon Ata - The day begins with a magnificent ship ride on Issyk Kul, the second-largest alpine lake in the world (1 hour). After traveling 4km, the ship will pause at a depth of 120m. During the hot season (May-September), guests can dive into the water for a surreal swim (life jackets provided). In other seasons, the ship offers a beautiful experience of the lake’s splendor and surrounding mountains.

Grigorievka - The journey continues along the north coast towards Karakol town, with visits to the stunning Grigoriev and Semyonov gorges to explore their breathtaking landscapes: a scenic hike to a hidden green lake (2.5 hours round trip; may be unavailable in winter). Lunch follows.

Karakol - The road resumes with an arrival in Karakol, a central town between the north and south coasts. Check-in at a hotel (78; Green Yard; or similar) allows for some rest. A short drive to the nearby village Ak Suu offers a blissful relaxation time at hot springs (pools with natural hot water near the forest). Return to Karakol for dinner at a restaurant.

Karakol - Ski base - Jeti Oguz - Skazka canyon - Bel Tam yurt camp

Karakol - The day is dedicated to exploring the beauties around Karakol and transitioning to the south coast of Issyk Kul lake to continue discovering its wonders.

In the morning, the journey heads to Kyrgyzstan’s best and largest Ski Resort (note: may be unavailable in some months). The chair lift ascends to a height of 3040m above sea level, offering incredible views of the entire lake, glaciers, and snowy mountains in the background.

Jeti-Oguz Canyon (Seven Bulls Rocks) - Returning to Karakol includes a short city excursion: Dungan Mosque 1910; Orthodox Church 1895; local handmade souvenir shop (if interested). A short drive leads to the picturesque Jeti Oguz gorge (“Seven Bulls” rocks). The road resumes with lunch at a restaurant.

Bokonbayevo - The final destination of the day is Bel Tam yurt camp, located on the wild beach of Issyk Kul lake, surrounded by mountains. Free time is available for outdoor activities (walking, swimming, bonfire). Dinner and overnight stay in yurts.

Bel Tam - Ak Sai canyons - Bishkek

Bokonbayevo - In the morning, after more time at the yurt camp, the journey resumes.
Visiting the nearby Ak Sai village offers a breathtaking Eagle hunting demonstration and archery, with participation for everyone. The drive continues deeper into the charming Canyon of Forgotten Rivers to enjoy spectacular views: a light walk to its panoramic viewpoint (1.5 hours round trip). A picnic on the wild beach includes eating, swimming, and sunbathing.

Bishkek - It’s time to return to Bishkek (230km). Upon arrival in the city, guests will be dropped off at their hotel (not included). Thank you for sharing this magnificent journey! We hope to see you again! End of the tour.
