- Tiznit - The city was founded in 1882 by the Alawite Sultan Hassan I who endowed it, in 1883, with a long wall still encircling the old medina. Later, the 1886 expedition strengthened the Sultan’s power in the region, which grew in importance in the face of Spanish attempts to settle in Ifni after the Spanish-Moroccan War of 1860.

Embark on your desert adventure by exploring a few Berber villages as you depart from Agadir. Pause for a while at the town of Tiznit, before journeying towards the pristine Legzira Beach(natural beach), famed as one of Africa’s most scenic beaches. Post lunch, we will head towards the camel market town, known as the gateway to the desert. After a brief pause to refresh ourselves, we will traverse to the vast sand dunes of El Borj. Dinner features sahraoui entertainment, and the night concludes with a unique experience of sleeping in the nomadic tents.

With Momo in the desert!!! - We went with the great momo. Communication was in English and French. He is a fantastic driver and has taken very caring care of us (two solo travelers women) all the time!We felt very well taken care of with him. His driving style is professional and the car was very comfortable!
We made a lot of great stops, on the coast and in the desert, in picturesque villages and in the mountains. A tour couldn't be more varied!!!
He has always explained something historical or geographical, but never too much. The night in the camp itself was of course the highlight of the tour! Also there the two camp boys present were very kind and respectful!
We never felt rushed in any way, even though there were many program items on the trip, Momo found a solution to the design. We can recommend this tour to anyone who really wants to see something of Morocco!The desert at El Borji is NOT a tourist scam, but a local experience!

Unforgettable Journey - Momo was our guide and he was very considerate, making the itinerary flexible based on our needs.
As a family with a child, this was the perfect way to experience the desert.
The travel itinerary was well-organized, so that we could visit interesting places along the journey. Especially the beaches were so beautiful. We could also had a lunch at one of the beach which was unforgettable.
When we arrived, we were the only guests in the desert camp, which made the experience even more special. The hosts at the camp were also very friendly and we felt welcomed.
It was a good choice;)

Morocco desert overnight tour - We had a great time on the tour, it was just the three of us, Walid (our guide) was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.
It was a brilliant and concise way to visit the side of Morocco outside of the resorts and hotels and experience some of the culture.
There is a lot of driving, but the car was comfortable and you see a lot more that way.
The night in the desert was the highlight by far. The berber locals were hospitable, and the view of the stars and rising moon from the dunes is incredible. I would recommend this tour to anybody wishing to see the real Morocco, and something different from the day to day.

An unforgettable adventure! Great!!!!! - On March 15 and 16, 2025, I booked a trip with one night in the desert. I don't have enough praise for all this. Momo gave us a lot of explanations about history, environment, culture,...
There were also many moments to take beautiful photos. Many interesting stops, pottery, different beaches, silver shops, but always without commitment. We never felt embarrassed at any time.
The tent camp was so beautiful. Watching the sunset was an unforgettable moment. Then dinner, followed by a pleasant evening with music, dancing and singing. Momo will not become the best singer, but keeps training.:))
The clear starry sky, moments you will never forget.
The car was very neat and Momo is a good driver.
The trip is recommended. Our stay in Morocco would not have been the same without it.
