The hike takes approximately 3 hours one way, covering a distance of 6.2 km round trip with an elevation gain of about 700 meters. This trail is rated as easy to moderate, requiring some hiking experience. The captivating scene of nature, with its vivid blue and green hues, resembles a postcard. Theth - Valbona Valley

Valbona - Theth - Hiking Trail - Prepare for the highlight of this adventure. The trek from Theth to Valbona is a demanding day, taking about 6 to 8 hours (with an elevation gain of approximately 1050 meters) through remote terrain, yet it is undeniably rewarding! The Valbona pass provides a breathtaking view of the Peaks of the Balkans and the “Accursed Mountains.” Upon reaching the top of the Valbona Pass, an adrenaline rush is guaranteed. From this vantage point, both sides of the valleys are visible. This viewpoint is ideal for a brief rest and capturing stunning photographs of the Albanian Alps. From Valbona Pass, the descent to the next destination, Valbona Valley, begins. This picturesque village is encircled by towering mountains. Upon arrival, travelers will proceed to the traditional guesthouse for an overnight stay in Valbona.
