Great crew and nice destination - Feel it's a little pricey @ 75/couple - Friendly and informative crew. They sell bagged snacks and some soda's and water on board which is nice. Shell Key is full of guess what ? SHELLS! An amazing amount - they are everywhere. The beach is quite private and you will have plenty of space. Easy swimming in beautiful water. Dolphins cruising by so close! There are also chow wagon boats that cruise the beaches if you want some food that way. This is a 15-20 minute ride and back. I feel like 35/person plus tax is a bit high for this short trip. I could see 50 bucks a couple being fair.

Beautiful! Would do it again - It was a beautiful beach. My granddaughter enjoyed collecting shells. One tip, if you want to get picked up at a particular time, get in line early. We missed the first boat, but the boat crew quickly returned for another pickup.

A must do when visiting St. Pete - This was such a fun trip! It was very easy to book the excursion and find the boat ramp. The captain and first mate were top notch and shared lots of information with us while making it fun. The captain even circled around and then stopped the boat so we could see a pair of dolphins swimming along. I will always recommend this ferry to anyone I know who is traveling to this area. A very memorable experience for my teen daughter and I.

Great relaxing adventure! - This was very relaxing. Nice to get away from the crowded beaches and enjoy the quiet waves on a natural shore. The shells were plentiful. Boat crew was friendly and not pushy. The first mate was very knowledgeable. Very nice afternoon! We saw a dolphin on the way back thanks to the captain. Highly recommend!

Shells Galore - Lots of shells on this island. Quick, boat ride to island with really nice and friendly staff. It was just as described on their website. A fun excursion for a half day for family. Bring cash for tips for the staff.

Great day trip. - The beach was beautiful, and it had lots of shells to look at. We saw a manatee in the gulf. The ride back was great, the captain and crew were helpful and friendly. We saw dolphin pods on the way back, and the Captain slowed so we could look at them.
