• Maiji Mountain - Guests will be picked up from their hotel by our guide and driver to visit the Maijishan Grottoes, one of China’s four most renowned Buddhist Grottoes. Located south of Tianshui, it is a 45-minute drive from the city. The grottoes were initially constructed in the 4th century and served as a significant Buddhist site on the ancient Silk Road. There are 196 caves with 1,300 square meters of preserved wall paintings.

In the afternoon, visitors will explore Fuxi Temple, which was built in the 15th century during the Ming Dynasty. The temple houses a statue of Fuxi, who is regarded as an ancestor by the Chinese people from ancient times.

• Fuxi Temple - Fuxi Temple is a renowned Daoist temple and a famous ancient building in Northwest China. Originally named Taihao Palace and commonly known as Renzong Temple, it is a place where Fuxi is worshipped. Fuxi is considered the ancestor of the Chinese people.

Meet the Xi’an driver in the hotel lobby in Xi’an city and take the bullet train to Tianshui. Upon arrival, meet the Tianshui guide at the train station exit. Visit the Maiji Grottoes and Fuxi Temple, and after the tour, the guide will drop clients back at the train station. Alternatively, choose from Tianshui options as needed, so no train tickets are provided by us.

Explore one of the renowned Buddhist Grottoes in Tianshui, Gansu, China, which is listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. Built between 384-417 AD, it features approximately 10,632 clay sculptures and stone carvings, 221 Buddha caves, and 1,300 square meters of murals. It is celebrated for its exquisite clay sculpture art and is known as the Oriental Sculpture Art Exhibition Hall.

Next, visit the Fuxi Temple, a prominent Daoism temple and one of the most famous scenic spots. It is among the notable ancient buildings in Northwest China. Originally named Taihao Palace and commonly known as Renzong Temple, it is a place where Fuxi, considered the ancestor of the Chinese people, was worshipped.
