Our trip from the port to Bangkok was smooth as silk! - Our English speaking driver Mee was very professional and helpful. His mini-van was very nice and comfortable for the almost 2 hour ride to Bangkok. He brought us to our excellent guide Chacha at our first sightseeing spot in Bangkok, The Royal Palace. Chacha and Mee were flexible when we wanted to change the itinerary slightly and add a shopping stop at the MBK mall which was great! They dropped us at our hotel overnight and Mee was right on time to get us the next morning for the return trip to the port. Mee and Chacha were a great team and delivered a great experience for us. Thank you Mee and Chacha!

The only way to visit Bangkok! - Our private driver and guide on Jan 21 and 22 were exceptional. Definitely recommend this service. We especially liked that we could customize the tour, and that we received an itinerary based on our desires well before the tour. We even tweaked the plans further a few weeks before as well as slightly on the second day. The communication from the company before the tour was exceptional. Based on reading previous reviews, we decided to also hire an english guide to accompany us which the company arranged for us. So glad we did. Our guide, Lee (Sataporn) provided expert guidance by selecting the highlights of the attractions we visited, giving us a lot of historic information, and taking and sharing many photos. It was like having our own professional photographer accompany us. Both our guide and the driver shared their photos and contact information via WhatsApp before the tour. During the tour, our guide frequently communicated via WhatsUp each morning and at the end of the day. Mr. Marut was very professional and an exceptional driver in very, very busy traffic. His vehicle was well equipped, comfortable, and relaxing. Both went out of their way to try to find a special souvenir I was interested in. We definitely felt spoiled by the services we received and felt it was an excellent value.

Excellent Bangkok experience - We had a great experience on our two day tour. Our driver, Mr Ood, was excellent, drove very safely and was extremely knowledgeable about negotiating the Bangkok traffic! Our guide, Sataporn (Lee) was fabulous. Our tour was tailored to exactly what we wanted to do, and we changed our minds several times. Lee was really cheerful and so interesting. Her knowledge was vast and she shared really interesting points. Would highly recommend her.

A great way for cruise passengers to tour Bangkok in comfort at your own pace - We booked a driver for two days to take us from the cruise port to Bangkok. The cruise ship annoyingly altered plans late the day before our trip but our driver Boripot was most helpful and picked us up from the new pier which was miles from the cruise terminal. The drive to Bangkok was quick and very comfortable. Boripot was very good at dropping us at good places for the visits and picking us up in very busy traffic. On the second day our driver was called’Joe’ he had very good English. He picked us up on time from our hotel and made some good recommendations on things to do. He also was very informative about places we passed as we toured in the car. Overall a great option for cruise passengers prepared to spend a night in Bangkok where good hotels are very good value. We avoided the very long commute from the cruise ship to Bangkok and saw the attractions we wanted at our own pace, in the comfort of an air conditioned car. I would recommend this experience.

Great way to see Bangkok and Ayutthaya - This was a really good overnight trip from the cruise port to Bangkok and Ayutthaya. Our driver Mr Prassan was ready waiting for us even before the ship docked. His upfront texting was really helpful so no problems in meeting with him (as was the case consistently while we were with him). The vehicle was clean and very comfortable particularly since Bangkok is approx 2.5 hours drive plus then the touring around Bangkok itself. The trip to Ayutthaya is about 1.5 hours and then 3 hours back to the port so having a comfortable spacious vehicle is a big help as does having a safe and reliable driver like we had. Mr Passan had a suggested plan for both days but was highly flexible in accommodating our thoughts. We were able to spend as much or as little time as wanted in each site we visited. Unfortunately the Royal Palace was closed to visitors due the official mourning period for the late queen but this did not spoil our experience. Although Mr Prassan is a driver, not a guide, he was able to give us enough information at each location to make the most of the visit. As a tip you will need some cash (small notes preferably) to pay entrance fees as credit cards are not accepted at many sites. We had a great two days seeing this part of Thailand and doing it this way and booking your own accommodation saves significantly against some of the similar cruise ship organised tours.

Ask for Ben’s! He was incredible as a driver!! - Our guide, Ben’s, was so prompt and took us everywhere we wanted to go, even if we cross-crossed areas. We had him for 2 days, 10 hours each day and he would have stayed for us longer if we needed him to!

Bangkok overnight - I’d like to say we had a fantastic experience with our driver Mr Mee. He was a lovely man who could not do enough for us. He followed the rough itinerary that my husband had suggested and although we didn’t do everything on the list that was because we were too tired; what we did do we loved and felt we got the best from our 2 day visit to Bangkok. Mr Mee spoke very good English, was a considerate and safe driver and was always ready to pick us up from wherever we were, so we had no problem with him at all and would be very pleased to have him again if we were so fortunate to do this tour again. Our past experience with Viator has always been good and this trip exceeded our expectations, so we would not hesitate to recommend you to any friends or family that wish to use your company.

Disaster - This was a disaster. The driver spoke NO English. He kept asking us where we wanted to go and handed us a page of attractions. I tried to reach the local Provider who did not get back to me for three hours. At which time demanded additional charges. At 5pm I was texted saying I was refunded $85. That means the ride cost $165. I have documented each and every text exchange and expect a full refund.
