Bonaventure Cemetery Experience IT!! - A cemetery tour? At first I was a little skeptical when our local trip planner recommended it. Then i found that that Tauck Tours ( hgh end) includes Bonaventure in their Savannah itinerary. Very happy we decided to take this tour Our tour guides nom de plume was "Lady in Mourning" and she has a true love for the cemetery its history and its symbolism. We appreciated how she was able to convey this feeling and knowledge to us. Every city has a uniqueness and Bonaventure is that for Savannah. An excellent compliment to a history of Savannah walking tour.

Great tour of Bonaventure Cemetery - We took a Bonaventure Cemetery tour with Hannah as our guide. She was a fantastic tour guide. Friendly, incredibly knowledgeable with amazing stories as they pertain to the history of the cemetery. One of our very best tour experiences!

Private Daytime Bonaventure Tour - My wife and I had a great time on our private tour with Shannon!! He possesses an endless amount of knowledge about the people, and places in and around Savannah. We did the Bonaventure half day tour with him today. He picked us up right on time. We stopped to see a handful of places on the way to the cemetery. Once we got to Bonaventure Cemetery he took us to countless graves, and told us several stories, and facts about the people laid to rest within them. He answered any and all questions we had about the people he was telling us about, along with anything we asked about in the surrounding graves that we saw and were curious about. You can definitely see, feel, and hear the love and passion he has for the history, and the people of Savannah. I cannot recommend a private tour with him enough. You will not be disappointed!!

Best Cemetery Tour I've Experienced - Time well spent! Went on the after-hours tour to scout locations for A Joyful Rebellion Podcast and learned SO much on this tour that I'd never heard on any others. The azaleas and Wisteria were popping all over Bonaventure. I would recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Savannah.

Interesting historical and personal history of cemetery and many buried there. - Beautiful spring day for Bonaventure tour. Richard was an excellent tour guide; informative, organized, friendly, entertaining. Definitely recommend this tour. If going solo, without a guide, one would never acquire the information received. The historical and personal history of many buried there is enlightening.

A great experience! - Shannon Scott is amazing! He has spent decades uncovering the true stories behind some of the most infamous people buried at Bonaventure Cemetery. What a great way to experience some of the "forbidden" history of Savannah!

Excellent Tour - A Must Do - There is no better way to visit this historic cemetery. Our guide and interpreter, Paschal, was excellent. We learned the history of the cemetery and about some of its oldest residents, what certain headstone symbols mean, how certain sayings came about, and more. My daughters were exhausted before our tour even began and I am sure Paschal felt they were not interested; however, they loved the tour and we all learned a lot. I highly recommend this tour. We will visit again!

This is a Walking Tour - I enjoyed the tour, but did not know it was a WALKING TOUR. It would be helpful to mention that in the description as we saw other tours in vehicles. It is two-hours of information, but I could only stand for a short period of time and had to return to my car after one hour.
