Vietnam. Exceptional Tours, Exceptional Country - We had a wonderful experience working with David Nguyen. He is a very good guide but even more importantly he has arranged our tours in Cam Ranh Da Nang and Ha Long Bay. The communication with him is exceptional, thorough and timely. Our group felt that the experiences were definitely "Top Notch" especially Ha Long Bay. I would highly recommend David to anyone who is planning a trip to Vietnam or other Far East countries.

Unforgettable Day - Highlight of our Trip!! - We had a fabulous time with our guide David Nguyen. He provided us a thoroughly enjoyable and informative day as we visited DaNang, and Hoi An. Highlights were numerous as we visited DaNang and Hoi An, with special stops for pictures and explanations as to the Vietnamese culture and economic development. We were treated as VIPs the entire day and David went above and beyond to see we had an incredible day. Sincere thanks to him and Viator.

A DMZ tour from Hue. - David Nguyen designed a tour for me, a US Army Vietnam Era Veteran, to visit the DMZ from Hue. The trip lasted over 10 hours and we went north along the Laos border to the DMZ, then we followed Route 9 to the South China See and then north to a buried city and tunnel site. I have been studying the Vietnam War for 8 years and I thought I knew a lot about the Vietnam War but David had a really good understanding and provided me with key information that I was missing. One of the highlights was when we traveled into northern Vietnam to see a village which was considered a North Vietnamese Army base camp. The US bombed the site for 7 years and the bomb craters are still there. The site has 3 levels with the lower level being 30 m below the soil surface. One level was for ammunition and supplies, another or the military and the lower level for the families of villagers. I climbed down 90 ft to the opening to the South China Sea and then went back through another entrance, there are 13, and climbed the 30 m back to the soil surface. The tunnel system runs 2 kilometers. The site had air vents and ways to spread the smoke from cooking. . Other sites along the way included museums with helicopters, tanks and air lanes and tanks. A trip along the Ho Chi Minh trail in Vietnam with other pathways in Laos. We traveled across the famous Route 9 and at the intersection with Route 14 we decided not to go to Hamburger Hill and instead went to see the soil tunnels. I would rate the tour a 10 out of 10. I would recommend this tour to any Vietnam Era Veteran from many different countries and any Vietnam War scholars and historians.

Da Nang done right! - We had a wonderful time and great tour by David. He really knows Vietnam and I would recommend any of his tours. David made sure that we were always comfortable (nice new van) cold water, wet towels etc. David is the king of cutting queues but you have to stay close. We visited the wonderful and very crowded Bana Hills. Couldn’t have done it without this guide. A+

Wonderful Shore excusions in Vietnam, all organized by David Nguyen - We came on an AIDA cruise ship to Vietnam & wanted to have our own private shore excursions a bit away from the crowds. Our research took us to Vietnam shore excursions homepage & from the very first communication David showed himself as very professional, kind & knowledgeable. We prepared our excursion in Da Nang/Hoi An as well as in Saigon. In Da Nang David was even our guide - we had a fully packed day & we can't thank David enough for this wonderful experience. For Saigon David organized an equally interesting & fully packed day & appointed one of his local colleagues to be with us for the day in Saigon. Both excursions were organized in a professional & smooth way, providing us with an enjoyable & hassle free local experience, giving us the joy of meeting 2 wonderful local guides. We saw so much, learned so much, enjoyed so much & laughed even more! We can fully recommend David Nguyen's Vietnam Shore excursion!

Just ... BRILLIANT - We organised our tour with David prior to our cruise and were so glad we did. Davids' knowledge of the area is excellent. His explanations were clear and concise - truly appreciative of this. Upon arrival into Chan May Port, it was raining, cold and miserable day but we visited Oyster & Pearl Farm, prior to endeavouring the BBC Top Gear windy road. LOVED IT! The view stops were breathtaking. We then visited China Beach and Marble Mountain (purchased a few marble pieces as gifts for family). Lunch, which was included, was awesome! We then wondered through the colourful streets, the colour and vibe was magnified by the fact that it was leading up to Luna New Year. Upon returning to our cruise, our fellow passengers were disappointed with their day touring the area - this was NOT the case for my husband and I. Our visit has truly made us more determined to return. We will be contacting David when we confirm dates and get him to organise accommodation, tours etc. for our future visit. Thank you David, for making our initial visit to the area a happy and memorable.

Outstanding experience with David - My wife and I took a private tour from the cruise port with David. We saw the sites of China Beach, Marble mountain and Hoi An city just before the Lunar new year so we got to enjoy the colors, flowers and celebrations. David not only is knowledgeable with narrative but he supplements is discussion with images on his tablet which make the sites come alive. We are both seniors and find walking long distances and climbing steps challenging so David modified the itinerary and time to meet our needs. Thank goodness for the elevator at marble mountain. We could not resist buying some hand made silk in Hoi An after David brought us to a place where we could see the process from worm to completed fabric. He also arranged an special lunch which met our restricted dietary requirement's. Overall a wonderful experience which I would definitely recommend to anyone.

David is a great tour guide! - David is very personable, knowledgeable and experienced. He did well at adding historic, cultural and religious context to the sites we visited in Da Bang and Hoi An plus included an excellent lunch. Highly recommended.

Shore excursion to Hoi An - From the minute we were met at the port, we had a brilliant day. Our tour was very interesting. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable & also interested in us and where we came from. He took us to a local restaurant for lunch, which was very tasty indeed, and for traditional coffee later by the lagoon as the sun was setting. I told him it was my daughters 25th birthday the following day and he bought her a present, which was such a lovely gesture. I must mention our driver too, who was fabulous & dealt with our flat tyre very quickly, whilst we sat on the nearby beach!! All part of the fun. All in all, I would highly recommend this company. Much better than a shore excursion from the ship. Thankyou David and co.
