The journey takes approximately 1 hour, after which sightseeing in Hue will commence.
• Tomb of Khai Dinh - The first stop is the Tomb of Khai Dinh, a unique blend of Western and Eastern architectural styles. Located about 10 kilometers from Hue’s center, this tomb was the last architectural project of the Nguyen Dynasty. It is celebrated as one of Vietnam’s finest structures due to its innovative use of Western materials and designs. The tomb’s location was precisely chosen by feng shui experts of the time, surrounded by natural features like hills and streams, creating a breathtaking landscape that remains impressive today.
• Hue Imperial City (The Citadel) - The next destination is the Imperial Citadel, the ancient capital of Vietnam, constructed in 1805 during the Nguyen Dynasty by Emperor Nguyen Anh. As one of the most significant structures of the Nguyen Dynasty, it preserves the memories of a powerful feudal era in Vietnam. Visitors to Hue should explore this site to appreciate the timeless beauty of the ancient imperial capital’s architectural structures. Lunch will be enjoyed at a renowned garden restaurant, followed by a short rest before continuing the tour.
• Thien Mu Pagoda - The tour proceeds to Thien Mu Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hue, located approximately 3 km from the Citadel on the northern bank of the Perfume River. Surrounded by flowers and ornamental plants, the pagoda offers a serene atmosphere, especially in the late afternoon when the sound of the bell enhances the solemn and tranquil ambiance.
