• Local Buddy Tours - Booking Office - STARTING POINT:
  This exclusive biking tour kicks off at your hotel in Hoi An, or at the Local Buddy Tours office if your accommodation is further from the Old Town. Complimentary pick-up and drop-off services are available from any hotel in the Hoi An area. Safety is our priority— we’ll take a few moments to go over Vietnam’s traffic regulations, try on helmets, and get acquainted with the bikes. Then, we’ll cycle across the Thu Bon River to discover the rural villages of Cam Kim Island.
• Cam Kim Island - CAM KIM ISLAND:
  Pedal across a picturesque bridge over the Thu Bon River to visit Cam Kim Island, where you can explore fishing and farming communities. You’ll meet a 65-year-old couple; the husband will demonstrate how to grind rice using a traditional stone mill, while his wife will teach you how to make rice papers and snacks. We’ll then sit down to savor these delightful local dishes. You’ll also have the opportunity to see their traditional home and daily life.
• Cam Kim Island - Incense-Making Family Visit: Meet a local artisan and participate in the hands-on process of crafting incense sticks, a cherished tradition in Vietnam used for worship and celebration. Experience the art firsthand as you create your own fragrant incense alongside the craftsman.
• Duy Vinh - TRADITIONAL BED MATS:
  Meet a 70-year-old couple and learn how they grow, harvest, and dye the reeds. You’ll sit with this charming couple and assist them in weaving the colorful bed mats. Your visit also allows us to provide them with a small donation, helping them preserve this traditional craft that has been in their family for many generations.
• Duy Vinh - COFFEE STOP:
  Enjoy a cup of Vietnamese coffee or a refreshing juice at a pleasant local coffee shop. Here, you can rest your legs, learn about Vietnamese coffee culture, and discuss interesting sights along the way. Use the washroom before continuing your cycling journey.
• Kim Bong Carpentry Village - CARPENTRY VILLAGE:
  Explore the 400-year-old Kim Bong carpentry village, meet a 60-year-old couple to see how they craft traditional furniture from hardwood, beautifully adorned with seashells or mother-of-pearl. Then we’ll board a local ferry to cross the Hoai River, enjoying the river views and refreshing breeze before returning to mainland Hoi An.
• Hoi An - FINISHING POINT:
  1/ If you book the tour without a meal: After the ferry ride, we’ll have a short bike ride or car transfer to your hotel in Hoi An.
  2/ If you book the tour with a meal: After the ferry ride, we’ll enjoy a Vietnamese meal at a riverside restaurant. Then we’ll have a bike ride (shorter distance) or car transfer (longer distance) back to your hotel in Hoi An.
