The bus journey covers 170 km to the Northeast of Vietnam (approximately 3.5 hours). Along the way, enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Red River delta with its serene villages, farmers working in lush fields, herding water buffalos, tending ducks, and trading garden herbs by the roadside. We will also make a stop halfway to stretch our legs and enjoy a coffee or tea before continuing to Ha Long Bay. Arrive at Ha Long Bay around 12:00 PM. The tour guide will take you to the boat for a 4-5 hour cruise on Ha Long Bay. A seafood lunch will be served as the boat cruises through the stunning limestone seascape. After lunch, visit the magnificent Thien Cung cave, also known as the Palace of Heaven Grotto. This cave is famous for being the site where General Tran Hung Dao prepared for a battle against the Mongol army in 1288. Explore the cave’s interior, filled with stalagmites and stalactites resembling various animals. - Dau Go Cave - Dau Go cave, or Wooden Stakes cave, is located on the same island as Thien Cung grotto. It was used to store wooden stakes for fighting against the Nguyen-Mong aggressors in the 13th century. You can choose to visit this cave after the Heavenly Palace grotto (optional). It takes about 3 minutes to explore. - Ba Hang - This floating village offers kayaking or sampan boat rowing by local residents. Navigate through water caves surrounded by limestone islands on the blue waters. - Hon Ga Choi Island - This island is the symbol of Halong Bay. It features two small islets that resemble two cocks fighting (Ga Choi in Vietnamese). Cruise around the bay, passing these islets for viewing and photo opportunities. - Hon Dinh Huong Island - This islet resembles an incense burner (Dinh Huong in Vietnamese), which is why it is named Dinh Huong islet.
