Halong Bay - I booked the tour through Trip.com and joined the Halong Bay day tour. We didn’t know what to expect, so it felt like a calculated risk. It paid off. Our guide, Hoy Dong, set the tone. He was organised, clear with instructions, and fully engaged with the group from start to finish. No dead time, no confusion, no herding chaos. Just smooth execution. The cave tour was the standout. Unlike many tourist sites in Vietnam where online photos are heavily curated and the reality is overcrowded and underwhelming, this one delivered. The scale, lighting, and formations were genuinely impressive and very close to what you see in the promotional images. The speedboat segment was another highlight. Strong views across the bay, good pacing, and just enough adrenaline to make it memorable without feeling reckless. If you go, don’t skip the kayaking. We paddled through a low cave opening and emerged into a hidden amphitheatre-like lagoon. Quiet water, steep limestone walls, and monkeys moving along the cliffs. That section alone justified the trip. The return journey had a relaxed, social atmosphere — music on deck, a sunset backdrop, and complimentary Vietnamese wine tasting. It felt celebratory without being forced. Additional costs were limited to drinks and bottled water onboard. The optional speedboat ride was 250,000 Vietnamese dong. Overall: well-run, visually impressive, and worth the price. I would recommend it.

This is the cheapest tour you can get! On the whole, I'm happy. - For ¥5500, you can take a shuttle bus, visit the pearl factory on the way, cruise, lunch, cave kayak, it was a good tour overall. He was a funny and responsible tour guide brother! It's only the cheapest tour course, so there's no big cruise, no buffet, no sweets with a lot of heart, don't expect that much lol But the costa is good. I won't be disappointed. I'm happy, and I'm going to enjoy it enough

Awesome tour! - It was pretty affordable tour!! The weather was unfortunately not good, but thanks to Jonny handsome, we enjoyed a lot!! He had a good responsibility for us and try to make us very fun every time! Highly recommend:)
