Setting Sail on a New Adventure

As a retired teacher with a penchant for road trips, I have always been drawn to the open road and the stories that unfold along the way. My husband and I have spent countless hours exploring the highways and byways of America in our trusty RV, but this time, we decided to trade the asphalt for the azure waters of Lan Ha Bay. The allure of a three-day cruise around Cat Ba Island and Lan Ha Bay, led by the charismatic Hieu with Vega Travel, was too tempting to resist.

Our journey began with a smooth pickup from our hotel in Hanoi, a city that buzzes with energy and history. On the final day, we set off on a bike ride to Viet Hai, a small village nestled in a beautiful valley. As we returned to the cruise boat, I felt a deep sense of gratitude for the experiences we had shared and the memories we had created. The facilities were top-notch, with comfortable rooms and delicious buffet meals that rivaled the best diners on the road.
