excellent holiday - excellent booking experience. all necessary information was given quickly, requirements of places to visit, clothes, visa, payment, hotels, guides and transport. The guides were knowledgeable and the driver was very safe, if a trifle slow ( understandable due to the hilly nature of country). Bhutan is very clean, water, roads, air and general awareness of importance of cleanliness. If at all visitors are not careful. Food is a slight issue, because it seems local food is not patronised. Indian food (not very good probably because of good cooks are in shortage) is readily available. Water in the rivers is plentiful and has low TDS so it is surprise that bottled water is recommended. The hotels should infact simply clarify the water and use UV to get drinkable water and eschew plastic bottles completely. overall a very pleasant experience.

Cultural Tour with Hiking and Paro Tshechu Festival - Route: Paro-Thimphu-Punakha-Phobjikha-Bumthan-Paro/Haa Valley Trip Duration: 08 Nights/09 Days All of the details were worked out in advance patiently by Khusala. More days and distance were achieved by flying back to Paro from Bumthang. On arrival I was greeted by my guide Bijay and whisked away to the Paro Tshechu Festival. The festival was a wonderful introduction to the cultural heritage of Bhutan. The Buddhist sacred dances were incredible to witness. I had requested hikes during my travels: 1st above Thimphu, through the Nature Reserve near Phobjikha, a Trans Bhutan Trail descent into Ura village and hiking to The Tiger's Nest Monastery. I felt very well attended to by Bijay, who was both knowlegeable and caring. He would call ahead to restaurants to make sure my dietary needs were met, which was a huge help! Dawa was an excellent driver on all the endless winding roads and always cheerful even on long days. I had great experiences traveling in Bhutan and would definitely recommend The Bhutan Travel Club for your tour!

excellent excellent excellent! triple thumb ups... - We were traveling as a group of four good friends. While searching for a suitable tour to Bhutan, we contacted nine travel agencies. Khusala of Bhutan Travel Club particularly impressed me. Of the nine agencies I contacted, Khusala was always the first to answer our questions, usually within a few hours. She not only provided detailed explanations but also always considered things from our perspective, ultimately designing an itinerary that met our needs. Tshering is an excellent guide, fluent in English and Mandarin. Bhutan is a country that combines nature, history, and religion. A good guide can make your trip more in-depth. Moreover, he observed our physical condition (given the high altitude) and made minor adjustments to the itinerary as needed, ensuring we completed the entire journey in the most comfortable way. Subba is a professional driver; having a calm and focused driver like him made us feel very safe, especially given the bumpy road conditions in Bhutan. We all really appreciate the efforts of Bhutan Travel Club team!

A Well-Balanced Bhutan Trip – Hiking, Culture and Scenic Views - We spent 9 days in Bhutan with friends and had a really great experience overall. The program was well balanced – hikes, cultural visits and great scenery. Highlights for us were the hike to Tiger’s Nest, rafting in Punakha, and attending the Gangtey Tshechu festival . Staying in the farmhouse in Tangsibji village was also memorable – simple but very authentic, and a nice break from standard hotels. Everything was well organized, transport was comfortable, and our guide and driver were reliable and knowledgeable. Traveling as a group of friends made it even more fun. We’d definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a solid mix of nature, culture, and local experiences in Bhutan.

Authentic Bhutan Trip - We spent one week in Bhutan at the beginning of October, traveling in a group of three, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. The organization by Bhutan Travel Club was smooth and professional from start to finish. We truly appreciated the personal involvement of Pelden, the agency owner, who was very attentive and helped us design the entire trip. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and always ready to share insights about Bhutanese culture, history, and everyday life. He was also very flexible and open to adjust the program to our interests and pace. We also spent one night in a traditional rural house, which complemented the well-known 'must-see' sights. We highly recommend Bhutan Travel Club to anyone looking for an authentic and well-organized trip.

Memorable week in Bhutan! - I could not have imagined a better week in Bhutan and really appreciate everything the Bhutan Travel Club did to make it a memorable and meaningful experience. Everything was well planned and I appreciated how the Bhutan Travel Club team thought through the details and was very open to making adjustments on the fly. Khusula, the reservation manager, was incredibly responsive and flexible during the booking process and continued to check in throughout the trip to make sure everything was going smoothly. She checked me into both my incoming and departing flight so she could select the seats with the best views. Thanks to her, I had a prime view of Everest on my flight from Nepal, something my seatmate was very jealous of. Additionally when on a whim I wanted to make changes to the itinerary such as adding a rafting trip when in Punakha it was easily coordinated. I was also able to see and learn so much about Bhutan thanks to my guide and driver, Sonam and Dhawa. Sonam was very knowledgeable about Bhutan, always sharing stories about the places we visited and I don’t think there was a single time I had a question and he did not know the answer (and I ask a lot of questions!). And when I mentioned an interest in meditating for the first time, he arranged for a monk at one of the temples to share a few tips. Dhawa the driver was also great in making it easy to see so much in a short time. The drive around Bhutan was very comfortable and he never made me feel bad about adding random stops (such as to see yaks or pick up more wine). Bhutan is a very special place and I feel incredibly lucky to have had the chance to visit. I hope to come back and have another great adventure with the Bhutan Travel Club.

A Thoughtful, Smooth First-Time Experience in Bhutan - My wife and I traveled to Bhutan from the Sunday before October 14 to the following Saturday, and organizing everything with Bhutan Travel Club could not have been smoother. Planning was easy, communication via WhatsApp was quick and clear, and the team was consistently cordial, flexible, and accommodating. A standout moment came when I mentioned the reason was my wife’s 50th birthday. Despite how difficult it is to find a vegan cake in Bhutan (nearly impossible!), they went out of their way to surprise her with one. It was thoughtful, and it meant a lot. Our guide, KB, was polite, knowledgeable, and great at explaining the history and culture everywhere we went. As a vegan traveler, eating in Bhutan can be tricky, since most tourist food is buffet-style, but KB made sure every hotel and restaurant prepared something special or kept ingredients separate, which we genuinely appreciated. Our driver, Sangay, was incredibly sweet and an overall wonderful person to spend the week with. We always felt safe with him behind the wheel. The trip highlights were plentiful: the Dzongs, the professional academy for artistic training, and of course the unforgettable hike to Tiger’s Nest. Hotels were mostly great (keeping in mind the Bhutan standards), with beautiful views, and everything ran very smoothly. I would definitely recommend Bhutan Travel Club for a first visit to Bhutan. They made the process effortless, handled dietary challenges with care, and delivered a warm, memorable experience. This agency was a fantastic choice.
