An unforgettable journey - An Unforgettable Journey to Bhutan Visiting Bhutan was a truly magical experience. From the breathtaking Tiger’s Nest Monastery hike to the serene beauty of Bumthang, every moment felt special. The Jambay Lhakhang Festival was a cultural highlight, with mesmerizing masked dances and deep spiritual energy. Staying at Six Senses Bhutan added luxury to the journey, offering stunning views and exceptional hospitality. Trekking through Bumdra and Jomolhari routes, I was surrounded by pristine nature, high mountain passes, and centuries-old monasteries. Bhutan’s commitment to Gross National Happiness and sustainable tourism makes it a unique destination. The warmth of the locals, the rich traditions, and the peaceful atmosphere left a lasting impression on me. Whether you seek adventure, spirituality, or cultural immersion, Bhutan has it all. It’s a place where you can truly disconnect and find peace. I highly recommend visiting this hidden Himalayan paradise—it’s an experience like no other!

Five days in Bhutan: a great experience - Great trip, well organized including all details visas, airfare. Great itinerary provided us with a good understanding of this great country, well designed itinerary in both cities, had the opportunity to learn a lot about history, culture religion and everyday life. Our guide was excellent very knowledgeable very accommodating to all our requests and needs. Driver very conscientious and helpful driving a brand new cuv. Both hotels were great, very attentive staff great breakfasts and dinners. The highlight of the trip was of course our visit to tigers nest a physically taxing but magical experience. Overall five great days!

AWESOME WEEKLONG IN BHUTAN... THANK YOU BHUTAN LUXURY TOURS - Hello everybody (especially potential travellers planning for a BHUTAN trip) Just back yesterday i.e 15.10.2024 from a weeklong trip to Bhutan with family and another couple (total 5 of us). Once we have decided on the place i.e Bhutan.. explored all options and tour operators and finally decided on BHUTAN LUXURY TOURS . One of the main reason for deciding on this tour operator was the immense confidence I gained speaking to their executive MR SATYAM who showed extreme patience and very high level of professionalism in handling a very difficult guy like me on the phone. So my tour operator was confirmed it was BHUTAN LUXURY TOURS .. courtesy MR SATYAM (my only reason). Our tour was tailor-made just for us five. This was a weeklong trip and it was an end to end covered trip which commenced picking us up at Bagdogra Airport and dropping us back at Bagdogra Airport and included Hotels/SDF/Breakfast and Dinner/Travel in india by INNOVA and in Bhutan in a TOYOTA HIGH ACE with wonderful driver at Bhutan Mr Wang Chu and an AWESOME GUIDE Mr THUJI. (SDF is a fee that we need to pay while applying for E permit and the same as on date is @Rs.1200/- per person per night (for Indians) we stay in Bhutan with Phuentsholing exempted (I don’t know why). So literally we were charged SDF for 4 nights only i.e Rs.4800/- per head). The trip cost included everything except lunches. (we were offered one Bhutanese Lunch for free … but confess… we did not like the food as it was in no way anything INDIAN. But thanks… it was complimentary) Our weeklong trip covered 2 nights at Phuentsholing, 2 nights at PARO and 1 night in capital city Thimpu and 1 night at Punakha. We were picked up from Bagdogra airport and dropped at Phuentsholing the first border city of Bhutan where the GUIDE was waiting for us and quickly completed the immigration process and got our passports stamped (the E-permits were already obtained by Satyam online and so it was very less time at the immigration) and were off to our Hotel. The Hotel provided was more than 3star premium and best part of Bhutan is the very very sweeeet people and extremely ultra clean roads and most highly disciplined drivers (I never heard the sound of Horn in any vehicle in my one week stay at Bhutan) . We were greeted in a traditional sweet smiling faces awaiting us at the hotel with a welcome drink and in less than 2 minutes we occupied our rooms. All the check in formalities were completed by our tour operator sitting back home at India even before we reached the hotel I guess. So was the case while we visited the other 3 cities too. All hotels provided were 3star premium hotels with us requiring nothing to bring. Food was delicious barring one dish at every hotel which is traditional Bhutanese. I am not a foodie so was very happy with my Bread butter, jam, poori sabzi , fruit juice, fruits and not to forget the boiled eggs and plain and masala omelette closed with Tea/Coffee for the break fast. Dinner usually went with Chicken / Fish with 2 vegetarian curries, Dal, Roti, Rice, Soup, Salad, Papad and fruits. I must confess… I missed CURD as its not a regular dish on the dining table. The food pattern for both break-fast and Dinner was more or less the same in all the hotels in Bhutan. All in all we enjoyed the trip thoroughly and the budget of the trip was very very friendly I think we winded up the tour with just 60 to 70% of the initial budget that we planned. Thank you BHUTAN LUXURY TOURS and Very very special thanks Mr. SATYAM for all your patience in answering my queries and making our outing a Very very special tour to remember. We owe our happiness and gratitude to Mr SATYAM for being with us on phone (nearly 3-4 weeks) and then giving us an extremely memorable trip. God bless you all … Best Wishes Satyam, Thuji our Guide, Wang shu our Sweet and Cute but EXPERT Driver and your partner hotels in Bhutan and also a Big Thank you for the CAB agency from Bagdogra- Phuentsholing-Bagdogra. My rating for this trip is a perfect 5 out of 5. God Bless… PRAVEEN…HYDERABAD (Willing to answer any queries from curious travellers planning to visit Bhutan… mail me : [email protected])
