Thethi Valley

Theth - The day will begin early as the group heads to North Albania. In approximately 1.5 hours, they will reach Shkodra and enjoy a delightful coffee or tea at a traditional café, which features an exhibit of old Albanian artifacts, traditional attire, and more. Soon after, the journey continues to Thethi Valley, renowned as one of Albania’s most stunning locations. The route traverses steep, breathtaking mountains of unparalleled beauty. Upon arrival in Thethi, guests will settle into their guesthouse, warmly greeted with mountain tea and local honey.

Kulla e Ngujimit - After a brief rest and a quick lunch, the exploration of Thethi Valley begins. Visitors will explore the quaint village with its distinctive mountaineer houses and the Isolation Tower, where the story of blood feuds will be shared. The tradition and local canon remain strong in these areas, with residents still resolving issues based on these laws.

Grunasi Waterfall - A 30-minute walk leads to Grunasi Waterfall, where its beauty can be admired. Grunasi Waterfall is the area’s most spectacular, noted for its color changes depending on the season. The water cascades from a height of 25 meters and is sparkling clean and drinkable. On the return journey, the Old Mill of Theth, still in use by locals, will be visited. After a long afternoon of walking, guests will return to the guesthouse for dinner and rest.

Nderlyse Pools and Blue Eye of Capre

Nderlysaj - After a hearty local breakfast, the group will hike towards the Blue Eye of Capre. The first stop is Nderlyse village, where the pools formed by a stream of water can be enjoyed, each uniquely beautiful. The water is pristine, blue, and icy cold. Above the pools, a wooden bridge adds a romantic touch.

Blue Eye of Theth - Next is the Blue Eye of Capre, one of Albania’s most beautiful springs. The water is crystal clear and very cold, with only the bravest daring to swim for a few seconds. The hike to the Blue Eye takes about an hour each way, rewarding visitors with its stunning beauty. The group will begin the return journey, arriving back at the guesthouse around 3 pm after a long hike. They will gather their belongings and start the journey back to Tirana, with a brief stop in Shkodra.
