Excellent ! - It was wonderful ! Helene is the best guide I have ever had on a tour, trip was very well managed. Her deep knowledge about history of sites/locations on the way was very well appreciated by everyone. Not only that Helene also gave expert advice on future locations to visit in and around Thessaloniki.

Not to Be Missed! - This whole tour was top notch start to finish. I take many tours every year around the world and wish they were all like this. Organized, comfortable ride, punctual, good timing. And the tour guide, Evangelia, was great. She provided interesting information and seems to enjoy what she does. Also, the monesteries were incredible! Like nothing I have ever seen. 10/10

An Absolute Must Do!!!! - Our group of 8 had a most amazing day on our private tour with Iaonnis from I Go Hellas tour company. Iaonnis (John) was so informative and had a great personality. Any question we had for him he was able to answer. He was very interesting to listen to. We thoroughly enjoyed our day to say the least!! We highly highly recommend this private tour as a must do!!

Travellers need to be... - Travellers need to be aware the full distance time of 3.5hrs to the monasteries not 2 hours as stated in the original particulars, also need to be aware of the expected attire to wear on the day to access the monasteries for men and women, it’s not enough to say modestly. But overall the day is informative and a lovely experience not to be missed.

Spectacular but very crowded - Spectacular site, well worth visiting. Experience only marred by the vast number of tourists and transport vehicles, which at a similar time from all directions. Restaurant we were pushed towards was good and very slick at moving people through. However, it was a classic ‘tourist trap’ and way overpriced. We travelled there on a Saturday in April, maybe check out if trips run on quieter days

They are NOT reliable, avoid at all costs! - I booked Meteora 4 months ago; it was one of the main reasons I flew to Thessaloniki. The night before the tour, they contacted me saying there is a technical problem with the bus and that tomorrow's tour will not take place. They offered me the Meteora tour a day later (which I couldn’t take because I was flying out) or another tour (the Pella and Vergina tour) instead of Meteora. I had no choice but to take another tour, which was fine. The next day, I arrived at the meeting point for Pella and Vergina tour and found out that the Meteora tour WAS taking place (same departure time and place) and that the bus was fully booked to the last seat! I was so disappointed. They probably overbooked and randomly canceled my reservation by LYING that the tour would not take place. And I believed them :( One star is one star too many for this experience.
