Great day, the museums... - Great day, the museums were amazing. I liked that we were given free time at the places visited which allowed the time to explore at your own pace.

Deep dive into history - Eva (guide) and Tomas (driver) were great hosts on this history filled trip. A relaxing drive through the countryside brought us to museums, some of which were almost overwhelming in the amount of artifacts and information. Eva is vey knowledgeable and excellent in giving historical information and answering questions. It was an enjoyable way to spend time immersed in the history of the region.

A wonderful way to spend a day in Northern Greece - A thoroughly enjoyable and informative day trip to Pella and Vergina with Eleni and Dimitris, the driver. Eleni thoughtfully provided information about the sites, the historical record and present-day, an excellent guide to Phillip/Alexander World, BC. Really great stuff. Plus I came back with the juiciest, most delectable peaches from Vergina. Thank you Eleni!!

Only one in our group... - Only one in our group knew some of the history of this region, but we left learning a ton of information! I'm so glad we did this tour. Eva was an amazing guide and we only learned at the end it was her first time doing this specific tour. We never would have known she was so amazing!

Interesting tour with spectacular museums - The tour was excellent but your payment system is a hassle: We booked the tour on Feb. 13, 2025 and were told that you would withdraw the tourprice from my Credit Card, and there was nothing else to do for us - but enjoy! On April 25, you wrote that you will withdraw the tourprice. On April 26, you informed us that you had cancelled the tour becauce you were unable to withdraw the amount from my Credit Card. This is not surprising, since most Credit Cards these days use dual confirmation system where the cardholder has to reconfirm the payments. We apreciate that you want to withdraw the amount as late as possible but this just does not work. We had to go through the whole reservation process once more.

Loved the museums, needed more time! - I really enjoyed visiting the archeological site & the museums. The royal tombs which was the last stop was my favorite. My only problem was that I like to read everything at the site & museums and was always running out of time. (Normal people get through much faster.) I also liked that we were left to explore on our own. Note that "lunch" was at the end at about 3pm.

A Day Trip back to the Ancient times of the Macedonian Kingdom - The site of Pella is amazing to the planning layout of the whole ancient city, centred on the Main Agora square, The House of Dionysus, was amazing to see with some columns still in place. It was interesting to see the wells in the Agora area had water in them about 4 m down. The Mosaics on site and in the museums are amazing. The Archaeological Museum in the nearby town has many great exhibits, coins, helmets, vases, figurines, jewellery. The Great Tumulus at Vergina -Tombs of Phillip II and others are a must see.
