History with a beer. - Great experience. Doug was our tour guide. He had great historical knowledge. Pubs visited were great too. Would definitely recommend.

#1 Tour in Sydney - So met our tour guide - Dave (aka Angus) at Harts Pub. Very easy to find. Started with a drink there after Dave gave us our options. During the tour, we visited 4 different bars with Dave giving us our drink options at each location. He made some great recommendations. Enjoyed each beer he told us about. We toured archeological areas with Dave explaining the history behind them as well as the history of Australia. Discussed the oldest pubs in Australia and why there is a debate about which one it is. We never felt rushed during the tour. Easy walking between bars. Dave was engaging and informative. Shared a ton of stories with him and another person on the tour. Had such an amazing time, we kept it going 2 hours past the end time. Ended up at one of the pubs we previously had a drink at and ordered some pizzas with kangaroo, emu and crocodile. Definitely the top tour we had in Sydney. Would absolutely do it again.

Historical Sydney pub tour - Our guide was so knowledgeable about the history of Australia and these pubs. He was so kind and helped us with all the beer selections.

An evening well spent! - It was a great evening and well worth the cost. The host Dave was fun and knowledgeable. We saw some very cool pubs and learned much about the history of the pubs and the area. We loved the small group and everyone was very nice!

Walking tour - Very interesting and entertaining tour. Our guide was originally from America but was very knowledgeable regarding the early history of Australia. Would highly recommend this tour.

Learn all about the history of the Rocks while enjoying the company of others and tasting local brews. - “Dave” was a great guide. Despite the torrential rain we got to visit all 4 pubs with great commentary and beer tasting at each.

Wonderful afternoon learning about the history of The Rocks! - We took our tour with Doug, and had a wonderful time. We learned a lot about the history of The Rocks, and did a little walking in between. He was happy to answer our questions and go into more detail as we walked along. We chose to eat dinner at the last pub we visited.

We Had A Ball! - Really good walking tour around the oldest part of Sydney, with visits to unique pubs and the chance to taste some tasty brews. Our perfectly sized group was led by the raconteur par excellance Dave P. Comfy walking shoes are a must, and definitely look at the forecast!
