A very nice experience! - We did the Cathedral tour and stayed in the family cabin overnight. It was a great experience. The guide was very friendly and humorous. The accommodation was very clean, reasonably priced and in a serene location. My only feedback would be for the guide to wait for the entire group to assemble before the talk during the cave tours. The narrow passages inside the caves means people need to walk one after the other and the last set of people end-up missing part of the information.

Great adventure with my Grandson who's 6 years old. - I took my 6 year old Grandson on the Cathedral tour and he and I both loved it!! Our tour guide was Pete, he was wonderful, engaging and full of knowledge. This is an easy tour, well lit, some bending to get under rock formations but I'm 60 with a bad back and I coped well.

Acoustics in the Cathedral - A cave?? Really?? BUT, this tour and the caves passed all my expectations. Our guide was informative, patient, and when she took us to the 'Cathedral' and played a recording of Hallelujah in the cave, the acoustics were so perfect that it bought tears. Acoustics more pure than the Sydney Opera House. A treat for all the senses.

Great day at the Caves - Absolutely fabulous day - Pete the Tour Guide was awesome. Had family over from NZ who were also impressed with the caves, Pete and the information received regarding the caves, cave formation and history. Would definitely go again.

Worth a visit. - Great tour. Knowledgable guide. The cathedral is so special. For someone with claustrophobia I could do this tour. It’s worth it.

Lovely cave system to explore - Beautiful cave system, lots of unique points like the Goldilocks fern, and the gorgeous micro bats who live there. We did the quick walking tour, but the more involved climbing and caving tours looked fun as well. Our guide Charmaine was fab, very knowledgeable and funny, she filled us in on the interesting history of the caves and how they’ve evolved over the years. We also listened to some music in the cathedral, the acoustics in there really are magic! Great for a cooling down for an hour or so if you’re up near Rockhampton!

Underground Magic - A great little tour to do with the kids. Caves are always fascinating places and this is no different. The tour guide was a perfect fit for his job - you could feel that he enjoyed chatting with people and loved the environment in and around the cave. That enthusiasm is infectious which often makes the difference between a boring ol cave and an exciting one. Short and sweet, the tour is only 45 mins and so it's easy to pop this into your days itinerary.
