Amazing cave experience - We visited with family- if it’s raining when you visit as it was for us I’d definitely recommend bringing or purchasing a poncho from reception as you’ll get wet otherwise. Great to have a guide who explained the history of the caves and how they were formed. Loved seeing the bats in their natural habitat. Good acoustics in the cathedral cave

Well spent couple of hours - We really enjoyed this little 1 1/4 hour tour. It was all very interesting made more so by the very clearly spoken and articulate young man named Ji. Not sure how it’s spelt. Highlights would be the cathedral show of light and darkness , the noise of the bats where they all congregate and the very tight squeeze but safe exit from the cave. very well priced with an ice cream afterwards on the grounds.

There is a challenge for every one - Peta 1 of the guides knows his stuff about the caves and makes it very enjoyable. Been a couple of times and still learn new stuff. Different challenges in different tours

Claire was the best tour guide - I recently went on a tour of the cathedral with Claire, and she was absolutely excellent! Her knowledge of the caves and the surrounding areas was outstanding. There were some kids on the tour, and she answered all of their questions with ease and patience. Claire made the experience informative and enjoyable for everyone. Highly recommend!

Worth the visit. - This is definitely worth the visit and Jack, our guide, was brilliant. Demonstrating good environmental and historical knowledge, while making it fun. Bats!! They’re amazing. If you have more time, bring closed shoes and do the caving adventure.

Absolutely stunning - We visited Capricorn Caves whilst staying at Yeppoon, approx 40min drive. We opted for the Cathedral Cave morning tour. Our guide was Peter who was very knowledgeable and provided informative details about the caves. The walk is not too strenuous, although can be slippery in some places. The cathedral cave itself is charming with small thumb size bats flying above. Whilst sitting in the cathedral, they turn the lights off and have the song hallelujah play, the sound is beautiful! At the end of the walk there is a small zigzag lower (shoulder height) exit to the sway bridges or like me you can opt out of this exit (slightly claustrophobic) and take the way of entry back out. There is a small gift shop and cafe at the check in area, it was nice to visit.
