Adventure Awaits: Kayaking in Phang Nga Bay
For those seeking a touch of adventure amidst the stormy weather, the Twilight Sea Canoe offers an exhilarating escape into the breathtaking beauty of Phang Nga Bay. Available from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM on both March 15th and 16th, this late-riser trip promises an unforgettable experience as you explore the stunning cliffs of Panak and Hong Island by sea kayak.
As you glide through the emerald waters, guided by experienced paddlers, you’ll discover hidden sea caves and hongs, each revealing a world of wonder and mystery. The highlight of the tour is a visit to the iconic James Bond Island, where you’ll have the opportunity to capture stunning photos and immerse yourself in the cinematic allure of this famous landmark.
The tour concludes with a magical encounter with bioluminescent plankton, a natural phenomenon that transforms the water into a shimmering sea of stars. As the sun sets and the skies begin to clear, you’ll find yourself surrounded by the tranquil beauty of Phang Nga Bay, a moment of pure serenity amidst the storm.
“Amazing kayaking and sightseeing experience! The staff was amazing and catered to everyone’s needs to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone onboard. The boat is big and there is a lot of room onboard the big ship with lots of places to sit and ample storage. They also explained everything very well including the history and facts about the Bay. The food was excellent and plenty of water and soft drinks. Unlike most other tours in the bay, which have to get kayaks from another boat parked at the various locations - this boat is big enough to provide its own inflatable kayaks so you are quick to get into the water without any waiting. The last part of the tour was really spectacular as you could see the bioluminescent plankton at night up close from the kayak. Depending on the season there are two kinds of plankton blue and white and we saw the smaller white ones, which was still amazing to experience. Overall my wife and I had an amazing time and would highly recommend this trip.” - Reviewed on 2025-02-14
