The Hidden Gem of Thailand - Only 70,000 visitors make it to Khao Sok each year, making it a hidden gem that the crowds haven't converged on it yet. Word will eventually get out and they will, like ants on pineapple. Get here before the Insta crowds do. This was the only tour we could find from Karon Beach. It was a LONG day but absolutely worth it. We were picked up at 6:45. Drove across Phuket to pick up some other guest and then made our way to Wat Mahathata Wa Chi Ra. We were the only 6 people in the entire place besides a school group. It was fantastic to have no people in our photos. The architecture, the murals, the large courtyard: all of it was really impressive. After that we drove to the pier in Khao Sok National Park, got on our own longboat and rode out onto the lake to float around the rock formations. It was rainy for the first half but then cleared up. We loved how the fog clung to the mountains, giving the area a sort of whimsical feel. At times it felt as if we were gliding through a Lord of The Rings set. We were the only boat in the area so no problem getting great pictures without the usual crowd of boats you would find huddled around a site like this. Next was lunch at a floating restaurant which was a Thai meal that was included with the tour price. There was plenty to eat and all of it was very good. Off of the restaurant we spent some time kayaking and swimming in the lake before we got back on the longboat and headed to the pier. The last part of the tour is bamboo rafting down the Khao Sak River, which was swollen (monsoon season), making the raft trip more exciting than you would think. Two people in our group took one look at the flooded banks and opted out. I've never done anything like this and I'd highly recommend it for folks who like unusual activities. Again, you'll find yourself floating through towering rock formations. We saw mamba snakes curled up in the trees above and floated by a rubber plantation. At one point it down poured, so I'd recommend bringing a parka. Also, if you hate bugs, this may not be for you. There is a crazy micro-ecosystem living on these rafts: ants, spiders, snails, grasshoppers, and bugs I have no name for. You'll be sitting on a bench on top of the bamboo but the bugs will have time to climb up on you. We just kept brushing them off, and none of them bit, but I can see how some people would freak out about this. We found it to be fascinating how all of these creatures managed to stay on the raft even when the water swelled over it. You will want to wear shoes you can get wet. You are in a rain forest so the bug population is not that surprising. Super happy we experienced the raft, which was maybe 20 min long. We left at 6:45 and returned at 8 pm. It's a long day but we would do it again. Given what's included, the price is sort of unbelievable. What to bring: drinks, snacks, water shoes, wear a swimsuit with a cover that is appropriate for the temple (covered shoulders and knees), parka, cash, a book for entertainment.

This trip was absolutely... - This trip was absolutely incredible. My favourite part of visiting Thailand. The temple is breathtaking, the water is just as blue as you’d imagine, finishing with the bamboo rafting to end a beautiful day. Our drive and guide were so helpful and really gave us the best experience.

Amanzing experiencie - We were there in April and it was exceptional, the service was punctual, an important point, the transfer was very good, pleasant with explanations of the places to visit, upon arrival it was a true marvel, we loved it, it is beautiful and its views are great, the food was too delicious, the fish was fresh literally from the local fish, I got on the kayak and it was a super experience, some great views and a silence that is appreciated, without a doubt we recommend them, they did everything excellent.

Such a great tour - We were in Phuket for our honeymoon and everything went great thanks to odeon tours. We booked a few tours, airport transfers and hotels and this tour was just one of them. We started early in the morning and had lots of fun during the whole day. Lunch was traditional Thai food which we like but if you don’t like Thai food you had better purchase some sandwiches or fruit along the way when they stop. The vehicle was air conditioned and comfort. Before Phuket we were in Bangkok and chiang Mai and we had seen lots of temples there and we were done with temples therefore we were a bit prejudged for the temple written in the itinerary but it’s really well worth seeing it. It was beyond our expectations. The lake, the landscape, the canoeing, the bamboo rafting everything was amazing. You know sometimes the little details make a huge difference! we still keep the bamboo cup that they gifted us in the tour and remember that day… it will always stay in our hearts

The transfer was very comfortable, and our guide was super friendly and helpful throughout the whole trip. Highlights included a beautifully decorated Buddhist temple, a peaceful boat ride on Cheow Lan Lake, and relaxing bamboo rafting. Highly recommended for anyone looking to create unforgettable memories!(even the rain couldn’t ruin it!)

one of the best days of my life - Unforgettable experience with Odeon Tours Thailand! If you’re looking to discover the real Thailand and avoid the typical tourist crowds, this tour is an absolute must. Everything was perfectly organized from the very beginning. The transfer arrived on time — a super comfortable minivan with a kind and professional driver. Our guide, Baw, was amazing — always smiling, very friendly, and full of interesting stories and insights. The first stop was a peaceful Buddhist temple. We were completely alone there, which allowed us to feel the powerful spiritual energy of the place and enjoy the moment in silence. Then we visited a stunning viewpoint overlooking Cheow Lan Lake. No tourists again — just breathtaking views and the opportunity to take amazing photos in peace. Next came a private longtail boat ride on Cheow Lan Lake. The scenery was out of this world — towering cliffs, emerald water, and jungle all around. It felt like being in Avatar or Jurassic Park. We stopped at the best photo spots — our guide knew them all. After that, we explored a cave with narrow passages, stalactites, and stalagmites. It was a real adventure and a great addition to the tour. Then we stopped for lunch on a floating raft house in the middle of the lake. The Thai-style meal was delicious — with options for everyone. During the break, we could swim or take a kayak out onto the lake. Perfect relaxation after an active morning. The final part of the day was bamboo rafting on the Sok River through the jungle — and it was absolutely magical. We were welcomed with local coffee and tea served in bamboo cups — such a special touch — and then drifted down a peaceful river surrounded by lush greenery. We even spotted two snakes resting in the trees. It truly felt like we had wandered deep into a real jungle. This was a fantastic, well-organized adventure — and without a doubt, one of the best days of my life. Thank you!
