Our trip begins with our... - Our trip begins with our Guide M, who send us a message one day before to confirm our pick up hotel and time. The trip is well pace. we visited a nice waterfall, then a short walk at the highest point of the mountain. M provides many informative information along the way. Then we visited the twin pagoda, followed by lunch and did some shopping at the local market. The highlight of the trip is a 2 hours nature walk with another local guide from the village. The views of waterfalls and rice fields are amazing. Before heading back to Chiang Mai, we visited a coffee factory in the village. M is knowledgeable and drives safely. He manages the time well and we end the tour around 5pm. Wet towels, snacks and cold drinks are provided in his almost new and comfortable car. I would recommend this tour.

Scenic Hike, Amazing Guide and Photos, A Private Tour Worth Taking! - We did the Private Tour to Doi Inthanon including Twin Pagodas and Hiking, and it was one of our favorite experiences in Thailand. Our guide, M, was once again outstanding. He drove safely, the car was spotless and air-conditioned, and we were provided with cold water and snacks throughout the day. M also took some amazing photos of us. Honestly one of the best reasons to book a private tour. He knew exactly how to capture the scenery and moments beautifully. The highlight of the tour was the Pla Dok Siao hike, a 2.6 km easy downhill trail through peaceful forest. We were guided by a local from Mae Klang Luang Village, who showed us stunning waterfalls, streams, and natural rock formations. It felt authentic and untouched, and we loved every minute of it. We also got the chance to taste some great coffee straight out from grinding the beans and into your cup! Yes, we got to grind the beans. You can’t get any fresher than this. A great ending to a national park visit. We also visited the Twin Pagodas, but due to the rainy season and the altitude, the area was covered in clouds with very little visibility. Still, it was a unique experience to be up there. We also went to the summit of Doi Inthanon, the highest point in Thailand, which added a nice sense of achievement to the day. Highly recommended if you enjoy nature, great photos, and a relaxed, personalized day away from the city.

Day trip to Doi Inthanon National Park - The trip guide was very knowledgeable about the areas we went to and facilitated everything, even helping to take photos. The twin pagodas and the surrounding gardens were very beautiful and there is a fantastic view. Just up the road from there was the summit Doi Inthanon, as others have said there is no fantastic view due to the tree cover but worth doing to say that you have been to the highest point. The walk with the Karen tribe member was better than I expected. There are quite a few steps to take (mostly downhill thankfully) but be prepared for the walk. The waterfalls and views were great and the guide was able to find and point out many of the animal and plant varieties along the way. The final Wachirathan falls were the biggest. When I went in April it was fairly quiet so no long queues which was ideal.
