Fantastic experience - We booked two tours in a row with 100 Degrees East, without any prior experience of the company. From what we experienced I can confidently say that the level of quality on each excursion is consistent and high. We started with a hotel pickup in a comfortable minivan which was exactly on time. We were then taken to the main office for a briefing, to be fitted for snorkeling gear and to pick up the water bottles they provided. We were also introduced to our very friendly guides. Then we took a short walk down to the beach to board our boat. The boat is comfortable, spacious and has an onboard toilet. There are plenty of choices for seating and plenty of soft drinks and water available in a huge ice chest in the center of the boat. On the way out, we were introduced to our crew. The crew were all lovely and were constantly running about and going the extra mile to ensure our safety and comfort. Jason in particular took great care of me as I suffer from sea sickness. He provided tablets, made sure I was seated in the best part of the boat and checked in with me frequently. When we reached the marine park we spent some time snorkeling with an assigned guide in small groups. Everyone who wanted was given a life jacket and the guide also carried a life ring to tow any tired guests so they wouldn't miss out. We then returned to the boat and headed to a beach for lunch. Due to some light rain we weren't really able to sit out on the beach, so the crew took us on an optional impromptu hike to a lookout point, which was great. After lunch we traveled to another beach for kayaking. A crew member took our phones in a dry bag and zipped up and down our line taking action shots for us. The whole experience was a lot of fun. We then went to the Emerald Lake where, again, our guides took fantastic care of us, advising on the easiest way to ascend and descend the very steep steps to the viewpoint and showing us the best places to take photos on the way. Finally, we went to the ranger's island where we relaxed whilst our guides searched for the native monkeys. Once found, they gathered us all up so we could get a good look, before boarding the boat for the trip home, being dropped off on the beach outside each of our hotels (a great final touch). 100 Degrees East have clearly fine tuned the formula for what makes a truly great tour experience. The activities were varied and perfectly executed. The crew were fantastic from start to finish and the thoughtful little extras (like the plan b hike on a rainy beach or the beach drop off) really added a level of polish that I have rarely seen by any tour company. This company sets the standard for others to beat and I would 100% recommend them.

Ang Thong Done Right - My husband and I chose this particular tour due to the high reviews. It did not disappoint. Jason and his team of professionals took great care of us on every level. From the moment we stepped on the speed boat, to the the concierge drop off on the beach directly in front of our hotel. Everything was professional, informative and I haven't even started talking about the incredible authentic Thai lunch on a gorgeous beach. It was delicious and plentiful. Jason clearly loves his job and is so kind to ensure that everyone has a really good time. I cannot recommend this tour enough.

the best boat tour of my life! - This was by far my groups highlight of our trip to Samui. I didn't see a review like this when I was booking, so I will be that reviewer for other people: If you have to book more than 4 people, they have you contact them directly via email to secure a spot so the group is guaranteed a boat together. At first I was skeptical, to be honest, I've had family members scammed abroad before, and booking independently made me a little nervous. If you are like me, I can tell you, do not be nervous. Cara is who you'll be in contact with to confirm your reservation and to communicate what you need in order to book. She is kind, informative, and professional and helped me through every concern I put forward. Even when I had issues with my card initally declining the purchase, she helped me navigate this issue to get our reservation secured. Now onto the day of: We were picked up on time from our hotel, and taken to their HQ in Bophut. We filled out a little paperwork, got water bottles, had our flippers fitted, and were given a run down of our day, and were introduced to our guides. The whole group was around 12 tourists, and about 5 guides. The boat felt secure and enough space to allow us all to move around and not feel squished. I traveled with two friends who are nervous in water, and prone to seasickness. Jason and the rest of the team ensured my nervous friends calm down and enjoy their snorkeling experience. They inspected for visibility beforehand and we had an incredible time seeing the marine life below the surface. One of my friends did get seasick, and very quickly they provided him with comfort and assistance and allowed him to opt out of kayaking to rest up while the rest of us went on the short ride around one of the islands. The lunch they prepared for us was surprisingly delicious for a journey so far out, and the opportunities to hike, see other animals (including monkeys!), or rest on the beach and take pictures, were greatly appreciated by my group. I highly recommend this boat tour as it was the highlight of our trip, and honestly one of the best experiences of my life. Special shout out to Thom, Jason, Midnight, Chang, Cara, and the rest of the team for building such a special experience for travelers on Samui. Absolute 5 star experience. ☺️

Angthong Marine Park day tour with One Hundred Degrees East Marine - This was an excellent day out for our family. Every aspect of the tour was meticulously planned and delivered. We were picked up on time from our accomodation in a clean car. A meet and greet with the other guests was followed by a well presented rundown of the day's activities, fitting of snorkel gear and introductions to the crew. The ride out to Anthong was an hour, then we snorkelled over beautiful coral in warm water and saw shoals of fish, nudibranch, and multiple big fish. We moved onto an island so we could have a lovely lunch then visited a view point, and did some kayaking. We also stopped on another island to meet some local fauna. The crew were superbly attentive and the dive boat was immaculate, we were offered a constant supply of snacks and drinks and kept warm and dry and comfortable (feet washes, fresh water showers and a towel). On our return we were met by the business owner and our car home. We had a totally relaxing day and felt well looked after. Our thanks go out to all the crew at One Hundred East Marine.

It doesn't get any better than this tour - 10/10!!! - This tour was exceptional in every way! I went with my two adult children and it was spectacular. From the minute you arrive Cara and her staff take amazing care of all the guests. The marine park is exquisite. It's hard to describe the stunning beauty of the islands, the water, the greenery, the wildlife. Our tour leader spotted a whale from a crazy distance and we got to see a mama Bryde's whale teaching her baby how to eat. We were very close but kept a respectful distance. There are so many little beaches on the islands and the boat pulls up to one, with no one on it, gives you beach mats and let's you swim, relax and take it all in from the warm crystal waters, to the soft white sand and the views that are out of a movie. We were delighted at every turn and this company is rated so highly for a reason. We took other tours in Phuket and none of them compared to the quality, service and attention to detail. Without a doubt, our favorite day of the entire trip!

Loved our day on the water - We had an incredible day on the water on this small group tour. The hosts were very organized and the equipment was top notch! The team was very attentive to our needs. The lunch was terrific! The small group of 12 really allowed us to relax and enjoy our day. We had a bonus of seeing a whale and monkeys! Honestly one of the best things we did in Thailand!!

Impressive operation. - Just wanted to thank 100 degrees east for a fantastic day yesterday. Very impressed with the slick organisation. The team are courteous and capable, prioritising safety with great communication and attention to detail. We were measured up for fins, masks and snorkels, with face masks even available for those of us who were short-sighted. Drinks and fruit offered regularly and lunch set up on the beach which was really delicious. They are very respectful and knowledgeable of the marine life you will encounter on your snorkel. Thank you Jason for the information about the species we saw yesterday, so interesting. This trip might be a little more expensive than some of the others, but you get what you pay for. One of the boats we saw from another company looked decidedly ropey. We were looked after like kings and queens. I can wholeheartedly recommend them.

5 STAR VIP EXPERIENCE - As two over 65s we looked around for a while to find a trip to Ang Thong National Marine Park that would meet our needs and after looking at many leaflets I decided to look for reviews on trip adviser and Bingo, 100 degrees East sounded like they offered the tour for us….maximum 12 adults ….. choice to join in or abstain from an activity, so I dropped her an email checking our ages we’re not an issue and double checked that we wouldn’t have to participate in everything….bad knees and bad ears meant we wouldn’t both not be able to participate in all the same activities. Cara quickly responded to confirm all was good and we booked the next available trip 😊 On the day of the tour we were picked up from our hotel by an immaculate minibus. Arriving at the office, as soon as you walked in it was clean, classy and oozed 5 star. We were greeted as we walked in and offered a drink while we waited for the rest of our group. Once we were all there we moved into a lovely area at the rear we were all fitted with our fins, given our water bottles, completed the paper admin and listen to the safety brief from Cara…..then we took a short walk to the boat. I want to thank all the crew who made our day one to remember for the right reasons. Some of the crew we engaged with more but without them all this would not have been as perfect. So a huge thank you to Captain Nan, engineer/captain Ked, Guide Samui, Mr Clay, Mr Pi Pi. After boarding the boat (12 adults) we were given a short briefing… and off we went. It took about an hour to get to our first stop which was the snorkling. During our trip our water bottles were kept in ice and there was plenty of other drinks….no limits, everyone just asked if they wanted something. The snorkling was great….you had the option to wear a life jacket or not (most wore them) and we were split into two groups each with a guide who had a safety ring in case anyone needed a tow or needed to rest. I have snorkled many times in other countries but still saw many marine creatures for the first time and my guide was kind enough to dive down and take some photos for me. Three of our group were feeling a little sweaty at this point but they were taken care of by the crew and by the time we got to the secluded beach for lunch and relaxation they were feeling well enough to eat the lovely food that had been prepared for us. Again the crew looked after us like VIPs. Nothing was too much trouble! At this stop you had the option to close mb to the view point….this is one we sat out and just relaxed on the beach and in the water. As we were travelling to our next stop we were lucky enough to see a whale! Throughout the journey we were offered immaculately prepared fruit and drinks. We had a great time kayaking, not sure my hubby in the back of our canoe was actually doing anything but we got back to shore safe and sound. Again we were led by the guides and they took lots of photos for us! We also went to visit an island where you can see the monkeys….and just like the whale 5/6 of them were happy to look at us as we looked at them eating in the trees. Our journey out to the Marine Park was on calm waters and returning home the sea was rougher and we had an exhilarating journey home. On arriving back in Koh Samui we were dropped off from the boat at the beach in front of the hotel..,, what a lovely end to the day. What a day! We would definitely recommend 100 Degrees East and this tour…..thank you .
