- Bridge Over the River Kwai - Walk along the famous Bridge over the River Kwai
- JEATH War Museum - We follow the story to the JEATH Museum, just around the corner from the famous Bridge. Its exhibit displays a stunning collection of memorabilia, as well as “writing on the walls” in the form of murals and written accounts that creatively unpack the wartime history.
- Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) - We’ll then head to the Tham Krasae Station, a picturesque railway section that snakes around a cliff, where we’ll admire the views, see the train pass.

Highly recommend - Beautiful waterfalls and great service from the guide. We were only 7 which was great. We stopped during each trip for toilets and snacks. The food at the restaurant where we had lunch inside the park was delicious

enjoyable and educational tour - Sherry (or Cherry? I apologise if I'm getting the spelling wrong) was a lovely tour guide! She was full of energy and constantly treated us to Thai snacks that she had bought along the way. The sights on the train were spectacular and I'm convinced that Wat Tham Suea is the most visually stunning Buddhist temple I've seen in recent times. While we didn't get to visit the museum as it was closed, I still had a very enjoyable and engaging time on this tour.

Highly Recommend the River Kwai tour with Ohm - I give this tour with Ohm a 10 Star rating. My tour guide and driver were wonderful. A private tour is definitely the way to go and it was worth the price. I enjoyed the tour of the historic Kwai Bridge, boat ride on the river Kwai, the museum, and visited an amazing temple on the way back to Bangkok

Super tour - Went on a private guided tour, the guide and driver were very nice, the bridge and rail journey up the river got to a spot where the Dutch POWs had carved the trackway from rock. Beautiful buffet dinner. Then too a Buddhist shrine in the mountains, wonderful.

Beautiful countryside, great day - so worthwhile visiting - Such a special day. Visiting the beautifully maintained cemetery and Death Railway was something I am glad I got to experience and show my children. Unfortunately, the JEATH museum is run down and not very well maintained and some of the exhibits are difficult to see due to being covered in dirt and grime, so the newer museum may have been a better choice. Kanchanaburi is so beautiful and the Tiger Temple was simply amazing. We loved our guide Nancy and driver Addy - both fun and so friendly and helpful. Nancy bought us some yummy Thai snacks and ensured we had a great day

Great Tour - I was the first group since Covid shut things down and the tour was flawless just like Covid didn't happen. The tour guide, Tor had great subject knowledge and passed on a lot of knowledge about Thai culture. It's an all day trip, picked up at my hotel at 7:30 and dropped off at 7. The van ride was comfortable and the driver was skilled. It was a great value and I have no regrets.

Impressive but also very affecting day tour - We did this tour organized as a small group. Personally, however, we would now do this privately to have more time for the museum, the surroundings of the bridge, etc.

Interesting to see, but a very long day from Bangkok - Although it was interesting to see, it is at least five hours of travel time from Bangkok for this day tour. I would recommend seeing this as part of other things in the area. I would have liked having a ride on the train included. Unfortunately, our guide, Coconut, was difficult to understand her English and was not able to answer our questions. The driver was excellent and provided water and cool, damp towels.

Tour groups will spoil the experience - Guides are obviously so focused on getting a good tip from their groups that they don’t give a damn about other travellers who are also trying to enjoy the experience. I caught the train from an earlier stop so that I could get a good seat to enjoy the views. It seems to be an established practice to target solo travellers and surround them with tour groups, obscure the view and invade their personal space until the solo traveller moves to a different seat - which then allows the tour groups (mostly family units) to all sit together. Fair warning to solo travellers.
