Impressive. - A transit camp which is not very well known to us as Dutch. Impressive to see, definitely worth a visit.

Sad, factual and empathetically done - a tour to bring the horrors of history to you - Romanka did it again! I was so pleased to find out my tour guide was Romanka after a previous tour I had with her earlier in my visit. She was once again friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the subject matter. The tour itself was well paced, nothing felt rushed, and there was a great mix of the history with the visits. If you are interested in this type of trip then you won’t go wrong with this tour.

A must do to any human being. - This was a very emotive and special experience. Everything that we have seen in books and films does not compare to the experience of been in a place where such events took place. I recommend this to all human beings so this scenarios won’t be ever repeated.

I booked the Terezin Day... - I booked the Terezin Day trip from Prague and it was as described.
Gustav was the name of both our guide and driver. We felt safe with our driver, despite rainy and snowy conditions. Gustav, our guide, was working so hard, speaking both Italian and English. Most of the people on our tour spoke English so I did notice the few speaking Italian had to wait longer to hear what he was saying since he said everything in English first. Gustav spoke to us about the overview/history of the Terezin area while we were on our way. Once at Terezin, he stayed with the Italian speakers and the rest of us went with a local guide. As other reviewers noted, the guides did have accents, but not so much that I couldn’t understand.
At Terezin, I appreciated that we got to tour the small fortress and learn about the steps taken when Jewish prisoners arrived. I also appreciated that we learned the history of the site and use even before World War II. However, I learned about Terezin as a place of nazi propaganda and was hoping to learn more about its role in terms of the deception it had on Jewish people and internationally with the visit from the Red Cross. Despite that, it was an impactful and valuable experience. As described in the tour description, we also visited the museum and krematorium, both a short drive away from each other.
If you have time to take this tour, I recommend it as an impactful learning experience.

A historical experience - The excursion is highly recommended to know part of the history of Czechia, not only in the WWII but also in the 18th century where this fortress originates. It is nothing macabre, as you visit the ghetto, and the camp was neither exterminated nor for Jews. To put a but, it was not in Spanish but.mixed with English. Anyway, a hit.

I expected better from the reviews - My friend and I regretted purchasing this tour within the first few minutes of its start. We selected an English tour at booking, but it was unclear that selection was for the Terezin small fortress tour provided by their on-site tour guide. The Premiant City Tour guide switched between multiple languages the entirety of the bus rides, speaking much more often in Italian, and it was very difficult to hear and understand him even with a microphone. Once we got to the small fortress, he would walk a few feet then stop to say something inaudible or out of earshot, and this repeated until we were introduced to the Terezin tour guide for the official English tour. She too was a little difficult to understand, but she was thorough and knowledgeable, despite the pacing feeling a little rushed. People may not return to the same seat on the bus between transports, so be mindful of what you leave behind. The ghetto museum was the second stop, and we purposely did not stay close to the Premiant City Tour guide most of the time for the reasons stated above. At the end, our guide led the group back to the bus while patrons were still using the bathroom, so some had to linger behind to ensure their entire party knew what was going on and where to go. The crematorium was the last stop, but by then we just wanted the tour to be over out of frustration. Overall, I appreciated the convenience of the transportation, but the anticipated weight and significance of the experience felt very diminished due to the tour methods and pacing. There was not a lot of time to linger and take in what you were seeing and rarely a moment of silence to be with your own thoughts. Premiant City Tour should consider providing individual audio guides in lieu of trying to speak to the crowd the entire time. Otherwise, I recommend securing your own transportation and exploring at your own pace.

Terezin guide - The guide was horrible. Too quiet and unknowledgable. She mumbles and is uninteresting. She doesn't speak up when everyone in the bus says they can'r hear her. I expect more from Tripadvisor. Shameful.
