Don’t miss this tour! - The excursion is so much fun and Haunui is a great captain! He shares his knowledge and stories of the wave, the area and the history of Teahupo’o. Highly recommend even if there are not any surfers out in the wave - just being there and feeling the swells is a really special experience.

Favorite excursion of our trip. - We had a great time on this excursion and highly recommend booking one for yourself. Seeing the 20’ waves up close was better than we expected. On top of that, he explained about how the reef protects the islands and how we were able to get so close to the waves themselves. Definitely worth renting a car to explore the island and see where the Olympics were held. Just do it.

Awesome 👌 fantastic - I've been planning for a few years now and have had the best experience at Teahupoo. The boat operator gave a great insight into the area reef and waves!!

An amazing experience. - Having watched the WSL and the Olympics at Chopes over the years on the TV we were blown away by seeing it in person. We arrived juts after the WSL had finished but Haunui was more than accommodating on a day when the conditions weren’t ideal. It is a trip we will remember. Haunui’s knowledge of the wave and Teahupoo is second to none only bettered by his boat skills to put you in the perfect spot for the perfect view. His passion for the area only added to the experience. If you are having any doubts about heading on this tour put them to one side. It is mind blowing and up there with seeing Nazare in the flesh.

Whouaaaaa - What a splendor that nature offers us here. To be as close as possible to this famous wave that has become world famous since the 2024 Olympics. Respect the surfer to confront him barehanded.

perfect day tour along with an island tour - It was a wonderful experience to be able to be so close to the forces of nature and exciting to glide with the small boat over 3-4 meter high wave crests and fall off behind them again... A brilliant experience!

Overpriced and no guarantees! - Risky booking in advance as the wave may be nonexistent. This is also massively overpriced as local water taxi's which are ready whenever you want them, are around £30 / $37.50!

zero output - NUL No wave or so few, no surfers; The provider should have cancelled the trip; instead he made us take a mini-trip without any interest for €600.00 (we were 6)
