Tū Te Ihi - Winter Matariki Celebration (May - September): Tū Te Ihi marks the period in the earth’s cycle when the Matariki stars shine brightly in the winter sky. Te Ihi signifies the energy and passion inspired by the Matariki cluster and the promise they bring.

Cultural knowledge specific to each season is shared from the start – rituals, songs, and stories continue throughout the evening. From the beginning, we offer local, seasonal kai - abundant and delectable. Kai horotai (indigenous canapes) is followed by a torch-lit walk to a sumptuous 3-course fusion feast.
