• Eglinton Valley - Just a 5-minute drive from Mirror Lakes, Eglinton Valley presents a stunning contrast of green, native bush-covered mountains against tan fields. Guests can explore the expansive lush fields, which are beautiful year-round.
• Lake Gunn - A 15-minute drive from Eglinton Valley includes a 5-minute restroom stop at Knobs Flat before reaching Lake Gunn. Nestled between the inflow and outflow of the Eglinton River, Lake Gunn offers a perfect opportunity to stretch your legs and enjoy the tranquil peace, only interrupted by birdsong.
• Lake Marian Track - A 15-minute drive from Lake Gunn leads to an optional 25-minute nature walk. From the car park, cross the roaring Hollyford River and walk 10 minutes up the track to Marian Falls, where you can admire the stunning cascading falls and chasms.
• Monkey Creek - A 10-minute drive from Marian Falls car park brings you to Monkey Creek, a popular spot to encounter the Kea, a mountain parrot unique to New Zealand’s South Island. This is a great chance to photograph these playful birds up close.
