• Narikala Fortress - The tour kicks off with a visit to Narikala Fortress. We’ll take a cable car up to the fortress to admire its stunning architecture and historical significance. According to history, the structure was established in the 4th century as a Sasanian citadel called Shuris-tsikhe (“Invidious Fort”). It was significantly expanded by the Umayyads in the 7th century and later by King David the Builder (1089–1125). The Mongols renamed it “Narin Qala” (“Little Fortress”). Most of the existing fortifications date back to the 16th and 17th centuries. In 1827, parts of the fortress were damaged and demolished by an earthquake. Guests can explore the castle grounds. From Narikala Fortress, you can see two contrasting views: a bustling city on one side and a serene forest known as the Botanical Garden on the other.
• Kartlis Deda - The statue was erected atop Sololaki Hill in 1958 to celebrate Tbilisi’s 1500th anniversary. Designed by prominent Georgian sculptor Elguja Amashukeli, the twenty-meter aluminum figure of a woman in Georgian national dress symbolizes the Georgian national character. In her left hand, she holds a bowl of wine to welcome friends, and in her right hand, a sword to fend off enemies.
• Abanotubani - From Narikala Fortress, we will walk down to Abanotubani. According to legend, this area led to the founding of Tbilisi in the 5th century AD. Sulfur water naturally flows from the ground here, supplying about 3,000,000 liters of water daily at an average temperature of 47°C.
• Legvachtahvi Gorge - Right in the heart of the capital, you can enjoy the beauty of Leghvtakhevi Waterfall. It’s a great place to escape the summer heat and enjoy the coolness. This beautiful gorge, located within the old town, is very accessible to visitors, with excellent pathways crossing Tbilisi’s lock bridge. It’s a small but perfectly formed inner-city waterfall.
• Shardeni Street - After visiting the waterfall, we’ll head to Chardin Street, the most vibrant and popular street in Tbilisi. Named in honor of Jean Chardin, a French traveler who visited Georgia in the 18th century and returned home with great admiration. This street is famous for its nightlife, which lasts until 5 a.m.
• Sioni Cathedral Church - One of the holiest places in Georgia. The first church was built here in the 5th century by the order of Vakhtang Gorgasali. The current building is a 17th-century structure that houses St. Nino’s original 4th-century cross.
• The Bridge of Peace - A beautiful glass walking bridge, listed among the 10 most beautiful bridges. A must-see attraction, the Peace Bridge was officially opened in 2010. It is 156 meters long and features 10,000 lamps.
• Metekhi Cathedral - Through Rike Park, we will visit St. Mary’s Cathedral of Metekhi, located on the left bank of the Mtkvari River. According to legend, the remains of St. Shushanik are here. You’ll also hear interesting information about the statue of Vakhtang Gorgasali situated in the cathedral’s yard.

Afterward, we ascend to the Narikala fortress & Mother of Georgia via cable car for a bird’s eye view of Tbilisi. Following this, we descend from the fortress towards the Sulphur Baths, the city’s heartbeat, on foot and finally reach the Leghvtakgevi waterfall.
