On the banks of the Aragvi, you will encounter the only Georgian fortress that has survived in its original state. As you explore the Ananuri defense complex, you’ll feel transported to the Middle Ages and discover the illustrious history of the Aragva eristavi (leaders of the people). Special attention will be given to the 17th-century Assumption Church, adorned with intriguing bas-reliefs, each element of which holds a hidden significance. -
Pasanauri - Witness the merging of two rivers (White and Black Aragvi), stunning vistas, and a unique mineral spring resembling a golden river. (Stop for 15 minutes)
At the junction of the two Aragvi and within the picturesque gorge, there are numerous restaurants in scenic locations where you can savor Georgian khinkali and other traditional mountain dishes. (Dining and meal time 80 minutes) - Gudauri - Gudauri ski resort.

To witness these views in person, travel to the village of Stepantsminda at the base of Kazbek. There, you’ll switch to jeeps to ascend to the “monastery behind the clouds,” celebrated in Pushkin’s poetry.
