A day full of wine, beautiful places and stories - Such an original tour where you meet local Georgian people in their wineries and experience the famous Georgian hosptality. We had a ride through a beautiful region of Kakheti together with trying so many different types of wines and chachas. And the lunch we had in one on the wine yards was fresh and delicious homemade Georgian cuisine! Our guide Zura was opened and welcoming answering every small question and telling interesting stories. The tour was comfortable as we were driving in a new car and in the end were brought directly to our hotel. This was a great and fun trip to get to know Georgia, very much recommended

Winter Wine - A very different experience from traditional European wine tasting sessions we have done in the past. This was a far more intimate and informative look into organic and traditional production methods on a non commercial level in the Kakheti region. From learning about how the clay fermentation vessels - Qvevri - are made to meeting the families that produce some fantastic and unique wines it a far more enjoyable experience to those we have been on previously. The wine makers were welcoming and more than happy to tell you everything about their wine with a passion. Each producer we visited were hospitable and offered several glasses of wine to taste and enjoy. Most sessions ended in a toast where we were offered Chacha, this is the local hard liquor similar in taste to a mild brandy. Beware some are double or triple distilled so can reach a chest warming 70% alcohol content. A hearty lunch was provided at the third vineyard which was an excellent offering of local dishes accompanied be their wine offering all of which were excellent. Our guide Zura was very accommodating and did well to decipher and translate our questions after we had several glasses of wine! The tour was well coordinated and ran as planned. Zura was also more than happy to offer suggestions for restaurants and other experiences within Tbilisi and the wider region. At each vineyard there is an opportunity to purchase wine made on smaller scale not readily available elsewhere. Expect to pay 35 - 40 Lari for a bottle so very much a worthwhile investment. We took this tour on our first day in Georgia and it was a fantastic introduction to the people, their culture and the country as a whole, we would highly recommend it.

Amazing Wine Tasting! - It was a unique experience! Choosing Zura's tour was the best thing I could do. I learned a lot about the Georgian way of making wine. There were also many different wines and chachas to try. We had a really nice atmosphere with a lot of fun. The winegrowers were hospitable and it was nice to see such small wineries. The lunch was also super delicious and we could sit outside in the sun. little hint: If you want to drink each glass empty you should not have so many plans for the evening anymore :D

Fantastic Day - From start to finish this was a brilliant day. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about Georgian wine. Each of the wineries we visited was a different experience and they were all very informative and had a big range of wines to taste. The wine was amazing, the food delicious and the chacha made the day go very quickly! Highly recommended!

All about Georgia wines - A very rich and interesting tour dedicated to Georgian wines. The tour is not only about different types of wines and tastings, but also about its production. In a day you can learn all about wine and its production in Georgia: walk through the vineyards, see how huge bevries are made, how they are used to produce wine (and even participate a little in this production) and immediately taste this wine. The interesting thing is that all this happens in the "field" - in real wineries, and about wine is told not only by the guide, but also by the winemakers themselves, who are involved in wine all their lives. We went to 4 wineries in a day, tasted about 15(?) types of wine and chacha, with each wine for tasting being about the same as sometimes poured in restaurants :) There are so many different wines I couldn't taste on my entire vacation to Georgia. The tour is planned very comfortably - due to the fact that walks, tastings and wine stories alternate, there is no feeling of fatigue, mid-tour lunch is organized (also with tasting). Since the group is small, very quickly the warm atmosphere of the Georgian feast emerges. Thank you very much to our guide Zura, who has thought this through, organized and told us so many interesting things about wines. He feels that Georgian wine is an important part of his country's culture, which he shares so fascinatingly.

A wine tour that everyone should visit. - I've heard a lot about Georgian wine and hospitality, and I finally got to feel it live. The tour is a bomb! we have visited so many beautiful places and tasted so much wine that I am still thrilled. We drank wines made according to Georgian technology and according to European, wines made in a large factory and in private wineries (sapperavi,Rkatsteli,KISI and mtsvane, mukuzani and khvanchaku - all of these, and even more we tasted). Well, lunch is beyond praise. Thank you to our wonderful guide Anna for having a great time. Anna knows everything and more about wine. Definitely recommend everyone to visit!)

A perfect day - It was big pleasure to take this tour! We visited several wineries, enjoyed beautiful landscapes of Kakheti, had amazing lunch in the vineyards and took part in collecting grapes. After this tour you will get understanding about Georgian winemaking and traditions connected with it. We had chance to try very different types of local wine and see how and where grapes grow. The guide is a professional with a lot of knowledge about local winemaking and local culture. We also met local winemakers and our guide helped us to communicate with them and translated our questions. Highly recommend!

You will have many experiences. - I joined with a friend. We visited several wineries. It was a great tour, seeing Kvevli, a must-see for Georgian winemaking, picking grapes, stomping the grapes ourselves and, of course, tasting many different wines. It was great to have lunch in the winery. The guides were good at English and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, they didn’t send us photos after the tour, even though they were included, and they didn’t send us emails after that.
