Excursion to Kakheti - Wine-Making Region
Tbilisi - Kakheti is renowned for its stunning views and its celebrated winemaking tradition, which spans 8,000 years. Even the French have acknowledged Georgia as the birthplace of wine. This tour offers an immersive experience in the vineyards, Alazani Valley, and the romantic city of love, Sighnaghi.
At the scheduled time, guests will be picked up from their accommodation in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and head towards Kakheti. Departing from the eastern exit of the city, the tour passes near Tbilisi International Airport, with an optional 10-minute stop for morning coffee or a bottle of Borjomi before continuing the journey.
Patardzeuli - It takes about 40-50 minutes from central Tbilisi to reach the first stop at the Kakhetian Tradition Winery in Patardzeuli. Here, guests can enjoy a tasting of five wine varieties and excellent brandy. During the drive, the guide will share insights about the eastern part of Tbilisi, the Kakheti region, neighboring countries, and winemaking specifics. At the winery, guests will join others and, with a local guide, explore the heart of the winery, tasting wine chilled to -2 degrees directly from the tanks. After 30 minutes, guests can purchase wines at factory prices.
Badiauri - In high spirits, guests will then see the vineyards of Manavi, Sagarejo, and Ninotsminda. Upon arriving in the village of Badiauri, known for its cheese and Georgian tone bread, guests can taste local cheese and observe the bread-making process. Optionally, a rustic salad with Kakheti unfiltered oil, wine, tkemali, and barbecue can be ordered for an additional fee.
Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino - The journey continues along the route of St. Nino, who converted the region to Christianity in the 4th century. After 30 minutes, guests will stop for a photo opportunity with breathtaking views of the Alazani Valley, Sighnaghi, and part of the Caucasian ridge. A 2 km drive leads to the Bodbe nunnery, where guests can spend 40 minutes visiting the burial site of St. Nino, enjoy the views, and explore the peaceful surroundings.
Sighnaghi - Adventure seekers can try ziplining or paragliding with an instructor at the entrance to Sighnaghi.
The tour of Sighnaghi, the city of love, includes viewing platforms, St. George’s Church, an optional museum visit, a Kakheti peasant’s courtyard with a winery, and the Sighnaghi fortress wall, taking about 40 minutes. Guests can then dine at recommended Georgian and European cuisine restaurants.
Tbilisi - The return to Tbilisi takes 1 hour and 40 minutes, accompanied by vibrant Georgian music and informative commentary about Georgia.

Tour to Kazbegi! Journey to the Heart of the Caucasus Mountains
Jinvali Water Reservoir - The tour lasts 9-10 hours, covering 170 km from Tbilisi. It operates daily, starting at any time from 09:00. Guests are picked up from their accommodation in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and head towards the western exit from Tbilisi. After 50 minutes, there is a photo stop at the Jinvali reservoir.
Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble - A 10-minute drive leads to the Ananuri fortress, a historical bastion and home to the princely Eristavi family. A small bazaar of Georgian souvenirs is available for exploration.
Gudauri - After a 40-minute drive, guests stop at the confluence of the white and black Aragvi rivers, witnessing the distinct colors before they merge. The journey continues along the Georgian military road to the Gudauri ski resort, stopping at the Arch of Friendship (Zurab Tsereteli) near the Cross Pass, 2295 meters above sea level. The descent to Stepantsminda includes a photo stop at the Red Mountain.
Stepantsminda - Near Stepantsminda, guests can visit the village of Sno to see the house of Georgian Patriarch Ilya II and a typical Georgian observation tower.
Gergeti Trinity Church - In Stepantsminda, guests ascend to the 15th-century Gergeti Trinity Church, with an optional lunch afterward.
Gveleti Waterfall - The tour continues along the Darial Gorge to the Gveleti waterfalls, with a 2-kilometer hike from the highway.
Pasanauri - The return to Tbilisi follows the same route, with guests dropped off at their accommodation after 2 hours.
Tbilisi-Mtskheta-Jvari-Batumi
Jvari Church - The tour operates daily, starting at any time from 09:00. Guests are picked up from their accommodation in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and head towards Mtskheta, Georgia’s ancient capital, first mentioned in the 4th century BC. Tbilisi’s layout follows the Kura River, with two main exits. The tour takes the western exit, with a 30-minute drive during which the guide shares information about Tbilisi’s landmarks.
Leaving the city, guests will see the natural beauty of Tbilisi’s suburbs. The first stop is the Jvari Monastery, where the first cross was erected in Georgia after its conversion to Christianity in 337. The observation deck offers views of the Aragvi and Kura rivers, as described in M.Y. Lermontov’s poem “Mtsyri,” and a bird’s-eye view of Mtskheta.
Mtskheta - After 30-40 minutes at Jvari, the tour descends to Mtskheta, a 10-minute drive. An optional photo stop is available. In Mtskheta, guests can explore pedestrian streets, shop for souvenirs, minankari jewelry, churchkhela, Svan salt, and taste Georgian wine or spirits. Cafes and small restaurants line the streets.
The tour visits the magnificent 11th-century Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, designed by architect Arsukidze, a revered site in the Georgian Orthodox Church. After 20-40 minutes in the complex, guests have free time for shopping and exploring. The tour concludes with a return to Tbilisi and drop-off at the accommodation.

Gonio Fortress - In the morning, the tour travels 20 km from Batumi to the Gonio fortress, a Roman-era site linked to the myth of the ancient Greek Argonauts.
Sarpi Beach - The next stop is Sarpi, where guests can visit the waterfall of St. Andrew the First-Called, who spread Christianity in Georgia in the first century A.D. At Sarpi Beach, guests can swim, view the Turkish border, and sample Turkish cuisine.
Makhuntseti Waterfall - Returning towards Batumi, the tour turns into a gorge, traveling 25 km to the Makhuntseti waterfall and the arch bridge from Queen Tamara’s 13th-century reign.
Batumi - The tour returns to Batumi, following the same route to the accommodation.
