Zhinvali Water Reservoir - Located along the Georgian military highway, Jinvali Reservoir is a stunning spot for photography, with its blue waters nestled between three mountain ranges.
Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble - Dating back to the 16th-18th centuries, Ananuri fortress is located on the Aragvi River’s foreland. It was the seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty from the 13th century. The fortress, a site of many battles, offers breathtaking views for landscape photography, combining the fortress and Jinvali reservoir. It was in use until the early 19th century and has been on UNESCO’s tentative list since 2007.
Hotel-Restaurant Kakhaberi طريق القوقاز - Enjoy a unique lunch experience in nature, featuring delicious homemade traditional dishes, especially Khinkali, the local dumplings. Rafting is available before lunch for an exciting adventure.
Gudauri - Weather permitting, try paragliding in Gudauri. Note that paragliding is not included in our services and costs approximately 100 USD.
Russian Georgian Friendship Monument - Optional visit to the Friendship Monument Georgia-Russia, built in 1983 to commemorate the Treaty of Georgievsk’s bicentennial and the friendship between Soviet Georgia and Soviet Russia. Located on the Georgian Military Highway between Gudauri and the Jvari pass, the monument is a large round stone and concrete structure overlooking the Devil’s Valley in the Caucasus Mountains. Gudauri ski resort, on the south-facing plateau of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range, offers maximum sun exposure. Situated in the Stepantsminda District at 2,200 meters above sea level, the resort is a fantastic sightseeing destination with opportunities for horse-riding, mountain biking, hiking, and paragliding.
Stepantsminda - Known for its picturesque location in the Greater Caucasus Mountains, Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) is a hub for trekkers and mountain climbers. Attractions include Mount Kazbegi and the alpine meadows and forests of the Kazbegi Nature Reserve and Gergeti Trinity Church. In Kazbegi village, a special car (5-7$ per person) is rented to reach the mountain top to visit Gergeti Trinity Church.
Gergeti Trinity Church - Commonly known as Holy Trinity Church near Gergeti village, it is located on the right bank of the Chkheri River under Mount Kazbegi at 2170 meters. Built in the 14th century, it is the only cross-cupola church in the Khevi province. During times of danger, relics from Mtskheta, including Saint Nino’s Cross, were safeguarded here. Although religious services were banned during the Soviet era, the church remained a popular tourist spot. Now an active Georgian Orthodox and Apostolic Church, it offers an epic panoramic view of the valley. Its isolation in the steep, nature-rich mountains makes it Georgia’s most iconic tourist attraction. The view of Mount Kazbegi, standing at 5047 meters, is truly impressive.
Rooms Hotel Kazbegi - After the tour, consider staying in Kazbegi. We can drop you off at Rooms Hotel Kazbegi in Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) or Gudauri. Arrival at Rooms Hotel is around 5 PM.
