Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble - The journey includes a visit to the well-preserved 16th-century Ananuri fortress, where you can learn about the local rulers, the Aragwa eristavs.
Pasanauri - In Pasanauri, you will see the confluence of the White and Black Aragvi rivers.
Gudauri - Enjoy breathtaking views at the Arch of Friendship in Gudauri.
Mkinvartsveri - At Mount Kazbek (Mkinvartsveri) and Gergeti Church, you will see the iconic monastery on a hill against a backdrop of snow-capped mountains. You will travel to the village of Stepantsminda at the foot of Kazbek and transfer to jeeps to reach the “monastery behind the clouds,” celebrated in Pushkin’s poems. Vardzia - The ancient Vardzia complex is a cave fortress and monastery built in the 12th century. It features 13 levels and over 500 rooms, including churches, chapels, living quarters, storerooms, baths, dining halls, treasuries, and libraries. You will explore the complex and learn about its historical functions. On the way, you will also see the well-preserved Khertvisi fortress.
Borjomi Central Park - We will depart from Tbilisi in the morning towards Borjomi Park, where a cuckoo train awaits us.
Martvili Canyon and Prometheus Cave and City of Kutaisi
Kutaisi - At Bagrati Cathedral, you will witness the beauty and unique charm of Georgian architecture from a thousand years ago.
Prometheus Cave - In Prometheus Cave, you will explore the colorful underworld of Colchis. The 1,700-meter walking trail through the grottoes features stalactites, stalagmites, underground waterfalls, rivers, and a lake. You will also recall the legend of the chained mythological hero Prometheus.
Martvili Canyon - The 700-meter stone-paved circular route at Martvili Canyon starts from the visitor center and follows the Dadiani historical trail. The route includes 2 bridges, 3 viewing platforms, and a 30-step staircase made of large limestone boulders. Visitors can enjoy a 300-meter boat tour on the Abasha River and take in the beautiful views of the mountain river canyon.
