Kartlis Deda - Kartlis Deda, or the Mother of Kartli, overlooks old Tbilisi and can be reached by cable car. The “Mother of Georgia” statue symbolizes the Georgian national character, holding a cup of wine in one hand for friends and a sword in the other for enemies. From here, you can enjoy views of Tbilisi.

Old Town (Altstadt) Tbilisi - In the Old Town of Tbilisi, you can reach a real waterfall along the Fig Valley and admire the elegant Tbilisi balconies. I will explain their historical significance and why no two balconies are identical.

Paravani Lake - At Paravani Lake, you can enjoy a beautiful view and take a leisurely stroll along the shore.

Jinvali Water Reservoir - The road from Tbilisi to Kazbegi runs along the picturesque Aragvi River gorge. The first stop is at one of the dams of the Jinvali reservoir, where you can admire its turquoise surface and learn about its origin and role.

Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble - The journey includes a visit to the well-preserved 16th-century Ananuri fortress, where you can learn about the local rulers, the Aragwa eristavs.

Pasanauri - In Pasanauri, you will see the confluence of the White and Black Aragvi rivers.

Gudauri - Enjoy breathtaking views at the Arch of Friendship in Gudauri.

Mkinvartsveri - At Mount Kazbek (Mkinvartsveri) and Gergeti Church, you will see the iconic monastery on a hill against a backdrop of snow-capped mountains. You will travel to the village of Stepantsminda at the foot of Kazbek and transfer to jeeps to reach the “monastery behind the clouds,” celebrated in Pushkin’s poems. Additional expenses include the jeep ride to the Gergeti temple.

Rabati Castle - At Rabati Castle, a medieval fortress, you will explore one of Georgia’s most expressive and colorful monuments, which served as a crucial transit point between the Christian and Muslim worlds. You will tour the palace halls decorated in old Georgian style and learn about the fortress’s history and significance.

Vardzia - The ancient Vardzia complex is a cave fortress and monastery built in the 12th century. It features 13 levels and over 500 rooms, including churches, chapels, living quarters, storerooms, baths, dining halls, treasuries, and libraries. You will explore the complex and learn about its historical functions. On the way, you will also see the well-preserved Khertvisi fortress.

Borjomi Central Park - We will depart from Tbilisi in the morning towards Borjomi Park, where a cuckoo train awaits us.

Martvili Canyon and Prometheus Cave and City of Kutaisi

Kutaisi - At Bagrati Cathedral, you will witness the beauty and unique charm of Georgian architecture from a thousand years ago.

Prometheus Cave - In Prometheus Cave, you will explore the colorful underworld of Colchis. The 1,700-meter walking trail through the grottoes features stalactites, stalagmites, underground waterfalls, rivers, and a lake. You will also recall the legend of the chained mythological hero Prometheus.

Martvili Canyon - The 700-meter stone-paved circular route at Martvili Canyon starts from the visitor center and follows the Dadiani historical trail. The route includes 2 bridges, 3 viewing platforms, and a 30-step staircase made of large limestone boulders. Visitors can enjoy a 300-meter boat tour on the Abasha River and take in the beautiful views of the mountain river canyon.

Batumi Botanical Gardens - The Batumi Botanical Garden is a paradise on earth, considered a pearl of the coast. It spans 108.7 hectares along the seafront, featuring centuries-old parks, unique collections of subtropical flora, succulents, palms, roses, camellias, citrus, bamboo, magnolias, cypress, and more. The garden includes 9 geographical divisions and over 2,500 plant species from around the world, with collections of pines, hazelnuts, persimmons, and maples. It is a beautiful spot for photos.
