Airport Transfer and Tbilisi Evening Walking Tour
Tbilisi International Airport - The operator will greet you at Tbilisi or Kutaisi Airport, identifiable by their red scarves. The meeting point is located in front of the information center. You will be transported to your accommodation in Tbilisi. This package includes a Tbilisi evening walking tour starting at 6:00 PM, with the meeting point at First Republic Square, in front of the bicycle monument. You can join the tour on the same day or on your third day, depending on your flight schedule and preferences.
Rustaveli Avenue - When visiting Tbilisi, exploring Rustaveli Avenue is a must, much like strolling the Champs Elysees in Paris. This avenue is home to Tbilisi’s most significant and stunning buildings, as well as numerous hotels, restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops.
Liberty Square - The tour reaches Liberty Square, the main square of Georgia, located in the heart of Tbilisi.
Rezo Gabriadze Marionette Theater - In 2010, Rezo Gabriadze constructed a unique clock tower next to the marionette theatre in Tbilisi’s old town. Every hour, an angel emerges with a small hammer to ring the bell. Inside the tower is a small puppet theatre, where you can watch “The Circle of Life” show at 12:00 and 19:00. Rezo adorned the tower with hundreds of tiles he designed, making it a notable architectural attraction in Tbilisi, often referred to as the Tower with a Clock or the Tower with the Angel.
The Bridge of Peace - The Bridge of Peace is a must-see attraction in Tbilisi. This pedestrian glass and steel bridge, with its bow-shaped design, spans the Mtkvari (Kura) River. Officially opened in May 2010, the bridge was transported from Italy in 200 unassembled parts. It is 156 meters long and features over 10,000 LED bulbs that illuminate 90 minutes before sunset each day.
Rike Park - Rike Park is the newest recreational area in Tbilisi, located on the left bank of the Kura River. It has quickly become a favorite spot for both locals and tourists, especially families. The park is easily accessible from the beautiful pedestrian Bridge of Peace and offers various entertainment options, including singing and dancing fountains, artificial climbing walls, a children’s maze, mega-chess boards, footpaths, and quiet corners.
Monument of King Vakhtang Gorgasali - Vakhtang I Gorgasali, from the Chosroid dynasty, was a king of Iberia, known as Kartli, during the late 5th and early 6th centuries. His reign is challenging to date precisely. He allied with the Byzantine Empire and led his people in a prolonged struggle against Sasanian Iranian dominance, which ultimately resulted in his defeat and the weakening of Iberia. Tradition credits him with reorganizing the Georgian Orthodox Church and founding Tbilisi, Georgia’s modern capital. Historian Ivane Javakhishvili dates his rule to approximately 449–502.
Metekhi Cathedral - The Virgin Mary Metekhi Church is situated on the left bank of the Mtkvari River, on a cliff plateau. The first church on this site was likely built by Vakhtang Gorgasali, symbolically resembling the church on the Virgin Mary’s tomb in Jerusalem’s Gethsemane Garden. According to legend, the former Catholicos Kirion transferred Saint Shushanik to this church in the 7th century.
Abanotubani - “Abanotubani” is the name of the district in Tbilisi’s Old Town, featuring a street (Abanos Kucha) lined with public bathhouses that utilize the sulfurous waters from the area’s hot springs.
Chreli Abano Spa - Chreli Abano is a popular sulfur bath destination for both tourists and locals. Although it resembles a mosque, it is a sulfur bath, offering a delightful experience.
Leghvtakhevi Waterfall - This spot is a favorite among locals and visitors for cooling off during hot weather.
Narikala Fortress - Narikala Fortress is Tbilisi’s most famous landmark. No visit to Tbilisi is complete without exploring this impressive fortress. Despite the walls’ condition, the fortress offers a glimpse into Tbilisi’s history. It overlooks the Mtkvari River, enhancing its allure. Narikala is one of Tbilisi’s most visited sites.
Kartlis Deda - Kartlis Deda (Mother of a Georgian), often mistakenly called Kartlis Deda, is a monument in Tbilisi that has become a city symbol. Erected on Sololaki Hill in 1958, the year Tbilisi celebrated its 1500th anniversary, the statue was designed by renowned Georgian sculptor Elguja Amashukeli. The twenty-meter aluminum figure of a woman in Georgian national dress symbolizes the Georgian national character: a bowl of wine in her left hand to welcome friends and a sword in her right hand for enemies.
Old Town (Altstadt) Tbilisi - Admire the narrow streets and wooden balconies of the Old Town.
Shardeni Street - Shardeni Street is one of Tbilisi’s most popular and beautiful streets. This pedestrian street is so renowned that no visitor leaves Georgia without experiencing Shardeni Street.
Rose Revolution Square - We hope your walking tour was delightful!

Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble - Ananuri Fortress, dating from the 16th to 18th centuries, is situated on the foreland by the Aragvi River. It served as a castle and the seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty that ruled the area from the 13th century. The fortress witnessed numerous battles and is perfect for landscape photography, offering breathtaking views of the fortress and Jinvali Reservoir. The fortress remained in use until the early 19th century and has been on the tentative list for UNESCO World Heritage Site inclusion since 2007.
Hotel-Restaurant Kakhaberi طريق القوقاز - Enjoy rafting before lunch for a unique experience. Relish a meal in beautiful nature, savoring delicious homemade traditional dishes, especially Khinkali, as you are in the homeland of these dumplings.
Panorama Gudauri - Engage in activities or visit the Friendship Monument Georgia-Russia (optional). The Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument, built in 1983, commemorates the bicentennial of the Treaty of Georgievsk and the ongoing friendship between Soviet Georgia and Soviet Russia. Located on the Georgian Military Highway between Gudauri ski resort and the Jvari Pass, the monument is a large round stone and concrete structure overlooking the Devil’s Valley in the Caucasus Mountains. Gudauri ski resort, situated on the south-facing plateau of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range, is located in the Stepantsminda District at an elevation of 2,200 meters above sea level. The resort offers maximum sun exposure and transforms into a fantastic sightseeing destination with fresh air and areas for horse-riding, mountain biking, hiking, paragliding, and more.
Stepantsminda - Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) is renowned for its picturesque location in the Greater Caucasus Mountains and is a hub for trekkers and mountain climbers. Local attractions include Mount Kazbegi and the alpine meadows and forests of the Kazbegi Nature Reserve and Gergeti Trinity Church outside the town. In Kazbegi village, a special car can be rented (5-7$ per person) to reach the top of the mountain and visit Gergeti Trinity Church.
Gergeti Trinity Church - Gergeti Trinity Church, near the village of Gergeti, is a well-known name for the Holy Trinity Church. Situated on the right bank of the Chkheri River and beneath Mount Kazbegi at an elevation of 2170 meters, the church was built in the 14th century and is the only cross-cupola church in the Khevi province. In times of danger, precious relics from Mtskheta, including Saint Nino’s Cross, were brought here for safekeeping. During the Soviet era, religious services were prohibited, but the church remained a popular tourist destination. It is now an active establishment of the Georgian Orthodox and Apostolic Church. From the church, visitors can enjoy an epic panoramic view of the entire valley. Due to its isolation in a steep mountainous area rich in nature, the church remains Georgia’s most iconic tourist attraction. The view of Mount Kazbegi, standing at 5047 meters, is truly impressive.
Rooms Hotel Kazbegi - Return from the mountains to the village of Kazbegi around 5 PM. Enjoy an early dinner before heading back to Tbilisi. Departure from Kazbegi to Tbilisi is at 7 PM.

Mtskheta is one of Georgia’s oldest cities, founded by ancient Meschian tribes in the 5th century. Due to its historical significance and numerous cultural monuments, it is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It served as the capital of the early Georgian Kingdom of Iberia from the 3rd century BC to the 5th century AD. However, Mtskheta continued to be the coronation and burial site for most Georgian kings until the kingdom’s end in the 19th century. The Svetitskhoveli Cathedral is Georgia’s second-largest church building after the Holy Trinity Cathedral. Known as the burial site of Christ’s mantle, Svetitskhoveli has long been one of the principal Georgian Orthodox churches and is among the region’s most revered places of worship. It was not only the site of the coronation of Georgian kings but also served as their burial place.
